thank you for the move! Sorry for the delay in the first 5, but I had to take care of some business OK so lets get going with numbers 50-46
50 Album: Fever (2001) Artist: Kylie Minogue Highlights: More More More, Fever, Come Into My World & Love At First Sight 49 Album: Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008) Artist: Coldplay Highlights: Viva La Vida, Violet Hill, Yes, Strawberry Swing 48 Album: Feels So Good (2002) Artist: Atomic Kitten Highlights: Feels So Good, It's OK, Softer The Touch, Walking On Water 47 Album: Butterfly (1997) Artist: Mariah Carey Highlights: Honey, Butterfly, The Beautiful Ones, Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise) 46 Album: Unwritten (2004) Artist: Natasha Bedingfield Highlights: Unwritten, Size Matters, Wild Horses, These Words Just Missed Out Album A mixed bunch starts of with "Fever" the million selling album from Kylie! It's a great electro pop song filled with disco anthems but a few songs have become dated and boring which is a very big problem with Kylie albums. Coldplay are next with the masterpiece "Viva La Vida" released just last year, people say it's there best work yet but nothing will ever beat "X & Y". Atomic Kitten come next with a album not on HMV called "Feels So Good". Just like Kylie the girls have made an amazing up tempo feel good pop anthem. Flying in at 47 is "Butterfly" from Mariah, a lovely love album released after divorcing the Sony producer guy and is probably her best work ever. And finishing of is "Unwritten" by Bedingfield. It's an acoustic and R&B album which is a bit of mix matched couple but she pulls it of well Just missing out is Sheryl Crow's self titled album! After her "All I Wanna Do" image, the darker edgier woman really won me over with singles like "If It Makes You Happy" and "A Change Would Do You Good" |

45-41
45 Album: Flavors Of Entanglement (2008) Artist: Alanis Morissette Highlights: Straightjacket, Underneath, Not As We, Incomplete 44 Album: Alright, Still (2006) Artist: Lily Allen Highlights: Smile, Knock Em Out, LDN, Friday Night 43 Album: The Alesha Show (2008) Artist: Alesha Dixon Highlights: Breathe Slow, The Boy Does Nothing, Lets Get Excited, Chasing Ghosts 42 Album: Taking Chances (2007) Artist: Celine Dion Highlights: Taking Chances, Eyes On Me, Alone, Shadow Of Love 41 Album: Hard Candy (2008) Artist: Madonna Highlights: Beat Goes On, Miles Away, She's Not Me, Give It 2 Me Album That Just Missed Out Album: Santogold (2007) Album: Santogold At number 45 is Canadian singer Alanis who has been kind of popular since the 1990's, her latest album brings back the dark sound that had previously been missing from her previous studio album. Lily Allen's debut album comes next, this is a brilliant album because of it's tongue and cheek lyrics. 43 goes to the "Alesha Show" from Alesha Dixon! This song is amazingly hot, her album is filled with fast paced R&B/Pop tracks and some amazing slow tracks, I just want it to crack the UK top 10 so bad though. Another Canadian comes next from Celine Dion with her last studio album "Taking Chances" which is some of her most powerful work yet but did so badly in the charts. And finishing of with the sticky and sweet sound of Madonna with "Hard Candy". The album is certainly her worst work but it still has some great songs on there and all the songs can easily enter your mind and not leave. The next album I missed out is "Satongold". I bought the album after hearing 3 songs from the album on the television and on the radio and I'm in love with it. They need bigger success than what they have at the moment |

OK guys! here is 40-36
40 Album: U218 (2007) Artist: U2 Highlights: Pride (In The Name Of Love), Vertigo, The Saints Are Coming, Sometimes You Can Make It On Your Own 39 Album: X (2007) Artist: Kylie Minogue Highlights: Speakerphone, In My Arms, No More Rain, Wow 38 Album: Breakaway (2004/5) Artist: Kelly Clarkson Highlights: Breakaway, Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Hear Me 37 Album: We Started Nothing (2008) Artist: The Ting Tings Highlights: Shut Up And Let Me Go, Be The One, Keep Your Head, That's Not My Name 36 Album: Like A Prayer (1989) Artist: Madonna Highlights: Like A Prayer, Promise To Try, Love Song, Dear Jessie Album That Missed Out Album: Moulin Rouge Original Soundtrack Artist: Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor mainly OK so this time round U2 start things of with one of their greatest hits albums, I don't own any U2 albums but hear them all the time and so when U218 came out I had to buy it, all the songs are pure anthems. Kylie's back at number 39 with her flopping "X" album, there some amazing tracks on here that are amazing and so catchy, I still think "No More Rain" is a masterpiece. Then at 38 is teen pop sensation Kelly Clarkson with her 2nd album "Breakaway", probably her best album so far with so much emotional songs and her powerful voice it sometimes brings a tear to my eye. 37 goes to The Ting Tings with their debut album "We Started Nothing" which is extremely hot, I love there simple and complicated beats on their songs and Katie's voice is so cool. And finishing of is "Like A Prayer" from Madonna, a legend of an album, I bought this in 2005 after the Confessions boom and it's one of the best 80's albums out there The next "didn't quiet make it album" goes to the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack. It's one of the few soundtracks I'll listen to properly, And I only bought it this year. |

35
Album: Parallel Lines (1978) Artist: Blondie Highlights: Heart Of Class, Hanging On The Telephone, Sunday Girl, Picture This 34 Album: Thank You (2003) Artist: Jamelia Highlights: Thank You, Cutie, B.I.T.C.H, Superstar 33 Album: Seventh Tree (2008) Artist: Goldfrapp Highlights: A&E, Clowns, Happiness, Eat Yourself 32 Album: Autobiography Artist: Ashlee Simpson Highlights: Pieces Of Me, Autobiography, Undiscovered, Love Makes The World Go Round 31 Album: Whoa, Nelly! Artist: Nelly Furtado Highlights: I'm Like A Bird, Turn Of The Lights, Legend, Well Well Album That Missed Out Album: Demon Days (2005) Artist: Gorillaz This next batch goes to the girls of..whatever, Starting of with rock legends Debbie Harry & Blondie with their biggest album 'Parallel Lines", it's amazing and catchy songs match the tone of Debbie's voice and I can never get "Heart Of Glass" out of my head. Jamelia comes next with her 2nd album "Thank You" which won her a Brit Award or MOBO or something like that, I'm in love with the sound of this album, the poppy and R&B sounds are perfect for any summer party. Alison Goldfrapp is next with Goldfrapp's latest album "Seventh Tree" which is more folky than there previous albums but goes back to their "Felt Mountain" routes. Next is Ashlee Simpson with her debut rock/pop album 'Autobiography", I think this is the best any of the Simpsons have done, it just sums up her life so well in her song writing. And finally pop who turned to acoustic who turned to R&B singer Furtado comes at number 31 with her debut album as well, whilst it's probably not as exciting as her next to albums the songs have become personal favorites of mine and "I'm Like A Bird" was a wicked single Gorillaz just missed out on the chart with there album 'Demon Days". I never thought about them until I saw them perform with Madonna at the Grammys and thought that, that song was incredibly catchy and their second single "Dare" was also a great song, totally deserved the number one spot |

30-26
30 Album: The Sweet Escape (2006) Artist: Gwen Stefani Highlights: The Sweet Escape, Wonderful Life, Now That You Got It, Early Winter 29 Album: Blackout (2007) Artist: Britney Spears Highlights: Heaven On Earth, Piece Of Me, Everybody, Ooh Ooh Baby 28 Album: ABBA Gold (1992) Artist: ABBA Highlights: Mamma Mia, Money Money Money, The Winner Takes It All, One Of Us 27 Album: Chemistry (2005) Artist: Girls Aloud Highlights: Biology, Swinging London Town, See The Day, Models 26 Album: Kala (2007) Artist: M.I.A. Highlights: Boyz, Jimmy, Paper Planes, Come Around Album That Missed Out Album: S Club Artist: S Club 7 OK so from 30 to 26 we kick things of with Gwen Stefani and her second album obviously not as good as her first one but the R&B sound she has is really catchy. 29 goes to "Blackout" by Britney, the songs are really good considering what was going on whilst recording it, obviously tons more of her albums are a lot better than this but I become so attached to it now. 28 goes to ABBA with their biggest hits "Gold". Yes they are cheesy and came from the 70's but without them Pop wouldn't be pop today, their classic songs have always been on my iPod weather from Gold or from the Mamma Mia soundtrack. At 27 we finally see the first appearance of Girls Aloud with their 3rd studio album "Chemistry". It sounds amazing and is one of their best albums to date and was the last time we ever saw a ballad on their albums. And finally 26 goes M.I.A. with Kala, I love this album because of it's weird sounds and lyrics, it's a shame she's not that big in the UK And the album that didn't quite make it goes to the cheesy 7, S Club 7 with their debut album, why I hear you ask? Well it's really catchy and summery! You can't beat some classic S Club 7 |
