Hey Jordan
1. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1] Great CB song, so much better than 'Rather Be'! 2. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2] Marginally better than AATB but I think she'll be forgotten in a couple of years. 4. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4] It took me ages to like this but I finally did. Actually the album is really good too. 5. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5] 6. Lorde Yellow Flicker Beat [13-6] 7. One Direction Night Changes [25-7] The best 1D single for a while 8. Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud [23-8] 9. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9] 10. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10] 11. Beyonce 7/11 [20-11] This single just sounds like a mess. I miss classic Beyonce! 12. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do Great new entry. This seems to be universally loved and rightly so, it's gonna be such a big hit! 14. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14] 16. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16] 17. Maroon 5 Sugar Disappointing that they've gone with this as the third single, it just sounds a bit dull and boring. No idea how it's doing so well! 18. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18] 19. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19] 21. David Guetta feat. Sam Martin Dangerous [24-21] Awww this deserved to do so much better here 22. Take That These Days [21-22] 24. Charli XCX Break The Rules [36-31-24] 25. One Direction Steal My Girl [17-3-11-25] 26. James Newton Howard feat. Jennifer Lawrence The Hanging Tree [35-26] 30. Imagine Dragons I Bet My Life [38-30] 33. Kid Ink feat. Tinashe & Usher Body Language 36. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer Love this, so much better than the awful 'Bo$$'. How did this do in the US? 38. Mr. Probz Waves [26-16-10-38] 39. Calvin Harris feat. John Newman Blame [14-6-16-39] 40. Magic! Let Your Hair Down Is this officially a single then? Has it done anything in the US? They really should have gone with 'Don't Kill The Magic'. Anyhow this has inspired me to play the album, so I'm listening to it now Great chart as always, looking forward to seeing Ellie Goulding at No. 1 next month |

Hello my actual co-mod
1. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1] This was the fastest selling single of 2014, spending a month at the top before being knocked off by Sam Smith's Money On My Mind! Oh wait, this is Real Love, not Rather Be 2. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2] Former #1 4. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4] Clara tried to get me to sing this the other day, what a wench 5. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5] Speaking of wenches, here's Taylor Swift 7. One Direction Night Changes [25-7] Reminds me of when I used to wet the bed 8. Ed Sheeran Thinking Out Loud [23-8] This young man has so much money, I think he should give some of it to me 9. Maroon 5 Animals [1-1-2-9] Former #1 Adam Levine scares me tbh 10. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10] Missing out the brackets! 11. Beyonce 7/11 [20-11] Beyowncι 12. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do Coming to be her second EVER #1, following her first EVER #1 Burn from 2013 13. Nick Jonas Jealous [40-5-13] This reminds me of Labrinth and his song "I'm jealous of Lorraine", and I just think of Lorraine Kelly 14. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14] One of my greatest memories as chart presenter is giving Sam Smith the #1 for this song live on stage at Big Weekend. Oh wait, that was Stay With Me 16. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16] 18. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18] 19. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19] Or is it Glow? 20. Ariana Grande feat. The Weeknd Love Me Harder [8-8-20] 21. David Guetta feat. Sam Martin Dangerous [24-21] It's amazing to see him still making hits, he's about 75 years old 23. Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants [40-23] 24. Charli XCX Break The Rules [36-31-24] 25. One Direction Steal My Girl [17-3-11-25] The second band EVER to cross 1 billion streams on Spotify, after Coldplay! 27. Carrie Underwood Something In The Water [26-19-27] 31. Tinashe feat. A$AP Rocky Pretend 32. Iggy Azalea feat. MO Beg For It [31-18-32] 35. Jessie J feat. 2 Chainz Burnin Up 36. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer 40. Magic! Let Your Hair Down INSANE chart (why yes I am recycling your idea for a comment to me, but in true Jameela style, I had to repeat it ) |

Wassup!
Ok you were right, I definitely didn't see that #1 coming whatsoever . I was initially indifferent to 'Real Love' but it's worked its magic on me since. Great production and lovely, simple lyrics - definitely a case where repetition enhances a song, rather than detracts from it as can often be the case. I heard that Maroon 5 song the other day for the first time and the song ended up being very much secondary to my viewing of the video. I've no idea if it was good or not but I remember hearing the 'Birthday' similarities at the start that everyone talks about! You seem to be coming around to sombre Selena slowly but surely! Also love 'Pretend' . I've never quite understood how/why '2 On' gets so much attention when that's far superior for me but there you go. And finally, die waves die ( ) |

Hi!
Impressed by the debuts of "Sugar", "Sledgehammer" and "Time Of Our Lives" Nice to see Clean Bandit is #1! Hope it does as well as "Rather Be" soon Selena and "I Bet My Life" rising Also hoping "Riptide" dies soon. It's barely making a dent in pop airplay, not to mention it's hella boring |

1. Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne Real Love [33-1] Absolutely fantastic #1. It's didn't even reach the top 10 on my chart but the competition is as fierce as ever there atm. 2. Meghan Trainor Lips Are Movin [27-1-2] 4. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars Uptown Funk [12-4] 5. Taylor Swift Blank Space [7-4-5] Such a stunning song. She really has outdone herself this era. Now all she has to do is release Out Of The Woods and I'll be perfectly happy! 7. One Direction Night Changes [25-7] 10. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10] 11. Beyonce 7/11 [20-11] This is f***ing fantastic! Without a sound my fave in ages from bey. 12. Ellie Goulding Love Me Like You Do 14. Sam Smith Im Not The Only One [2-6-14] 15. Rae Sremmurd No Type [38-3-15] Check out the patrickreza Remix 16. Hozier Take Me To Church [20-14-16] 17. Maroon 5 Sugar I totally get all the references to Birthday that everyone has been talking about. It's very obvious from the outset. 18. Vance Joy Riptide [28-5-15-18] 19. Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19] 20. Ariana Grande feat. The Weeknd Love Me Harder [8-8-20] 23. Selena Gomez The Heart Wants What It Wants [40-23] So poor in comparison to her previous material imo. 25. One Direction Steal My Girl [17-3-11-25] 27. Carrie Underwood Something In The Water [26-19-27] 36. Fifth Harmony Sledgehammer This is much better than boss don't you think? 37. Becky G Cant Stop Dancin 38. Mr. Probz Waves [26-16-10-38] 39. Calvin Harris feat. John Newman Blame [14-6-16-39] Fantastic chart this month |

You're right (although both are 10/10 really). I can't believe Rather Be only peaked at #12 for me! 2. She won't be forgotten by me 4. I've heard 'Daffodils' and 'Feel Right' and love both 7. Indeed, the best since Steal My Girl Until Where Do Broken Hearts Go becomes their best 11. I'm sure it's just a one-off and not an indication of her future material. 17. The video It's a very pleasant song to me, a potential #1 21. You're right, I went ahead and bumped it up one place 36. #40 so far, their highest peak and first proper radio hit! 40. It's come and gone unfortunately. They've done almost no promo at all Hello my actual co-mod 10. Alesso feat. Tove Lo Heroes [28-10] Missing out the brackets! 11. Beyonce 7/11 [20-11] Beyowncι INSANE chart (why yes I am recycling your idea for a comment to me, but in true Jameela style, I had to repeat it ) I disagree with Clara on the brackets . Ella Henderson Ghost [35-32-9-19] 20. Ariana Grande feat. The Weeknd Love Me Harder [8-8-20] 23.
