Girl group M.O. are making a name for themselves, with their heavily influenced 90s R&B and Garage music. Previous singles include For A Minute and Dance on My Own, which charted in the sales top 40 last summer.
Their new single is called Preach and is very R&B. Production reminds me of early-Timbaland and the song sounds perfect for Spring!
What do people think of this record?
Really liking this a lot on first listen! Not quite as much as 'Dance On My Own' or 'I Ain't Got Time' but it's still very good!
This is actually perfect. The chorus is absolutely superb.
They really look great in the video also, the styling is spot on. 90's realness through and through
Very slick production, I like the R&B vibes, could be a grower.
They'll do well to ever better the incredible Wait Your Turn though, still an amazing listen.
This song is getting lots of love at the moment. Playlisted at 1Xtra, was Kiss's "Hot One" song of the week and has even been played on Capital! Plus, 100k views on the video in it's first week and I feel this is shaping up to be a hit!
Loved 'Dance On My Own' and this is another excellent effort from them. I'm glad these girls are getting the opportunity to keep doing what they're doing because everything about them and their music is so refreshing. Based on their music videos, they've a serious amount of charisma/star quality as well so it'd be great to see them have a bit of a breakthrough with this.
Big fan of these girls, I've seen them live and got to meet them and would love to see them gain chart success.
However, this track for me, despite the very good production, was a little too predictable and safe.
From the title alone I just knew the chorus would consist of repeating "Preach" like a chant.
I prefer their edgier tracks like "On Ya", "Come Let Me Show You", "On & On" etc...
Ain't Got Time is their best track though.
Added to the Radio 1 playlist yesterday, and is their track of the day today. Sounding very good in the sun right now.
Dodgy video and choreography aside, this is really good!
I love this, really hope they finally get a hit from this
Something about these girls in that video feels very first gen Sugababes. Maybe it's the no effort thing? A kind of easy cool. On first listen I think the song is really quite brilliant. The chorus is smooooth. On board.
Even Capital have added this to their playlist now
This is blowing up!
