Poor Rita Ora, I wonder if she's even going to make it to the B-list at this rate.

Drake going straight to A-list is no surprise, although I was thinking Little Mix might have gone straight to B. And I thought we'd see an insta-add for the 1975 too, R1 are usually all over them from the get go. EDIT: Just seen that the 1975 track is a grat which explains it.

Doja Cat's 11th week on the playlist is starting to look a little excessive tbh.

Great to see Gerry & Rina added as well as Sports Team & Mystery Jets up to B!

Pretty sure the new 1975 song isn't a 'single'. I can see their next release 'If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know)' being heavily pushed on R1.

Drake insta-A-Listed, we have to stan! *.*
Big yes for Hosh & 1979 moving on up too, let's hope they can work their way up to the Top 40 soon. Also good to see 220 Kid & Gracey up, another dance hit in the waiting.
Odd choice of Skepta song to push considering it's currently only his 4th-biggest on both AM and Spotify.
I agree they should move on to pushing Boss Bitch from Doja Cat now that Say So has already established itself as a big hit.

Suprised they moved Ellie to B list over Rita, the latter seems more likely to be a hit and sounds a little more radio friendly

Pretty crap adds Little Mix And Lil Mosey aside, I have a feeling this Drake song won’t be as huge as many might expect though

'Birthday's been a (deservedly) flop comeback for Anne-Marie hasn't it?

Surprised to see Zara / Kygo / Tyga not added tbh.

It’s Spotify performance could possibly put it top 40 next week so hopefully Radios begin showing some support for it.

Some good adds this week for Gerry Cinnamon and only listening to that LA Priest track and its really good. Great to see Mystery jets move up too, actually forgot the album was out this week so added it to my Apple Music library - have too much stuff there to listen to now but working from home so will get the time - have Weeknd, Tame Impala, Circa Waves, Childish Gambino &Bombay Bicycle in full weekly rotation now!!

Surprised they removed 'Roses' so quickly considering its still No1 until later. What's the longest supported artist on there this week now - Biffy or Mystery Jets? Martin Solveig cant be far off either - 'Rocking Music' was released in 2004?

Justin Timberlake isn’t it? Especially if you include NSYNC as part of that. He’ll have been on the playlist since the 90’s!

Well that's true, forgot about him - so yeh NSYNC were 1998? and his first solo stuff was 2002.

But he's not on the playlist this week? (in any case I don't think he was on the playlist before 2001)

Well 'Just A Little More' was his first Top 20 hit in 2001 and I imagine that would have been playlisted. If not then maybe 'Love Don't Let Me Go' in 2002.

What’s going on with The Killers - Caution?! No radio 1 or radio 2 support - unheard of for a lead single from them, especially as it’s stronger than some of the other singles that have been playlisted. Do people think it could be added nearer to the album release date? To singles these days still ship to radio with an ‘impact’ date they might be holding off until?

Yeah I would imagine its 'impact date' is still a few weeks away. I'm certain R2 will playlist it but I'm less sure about R1.

I have heard Caution on R2 but not R1. I can see them being fully moved over to Radio 2 now. Quite like the song (although the mastering/mixing is ear-bleedingly bad as has been pointed out elsewhere) but can understand why it might seem a bit dadrocky. I forgot LA Priest was in Late of the Pier, might give that a spin right now!

Great to see Rina S here - have been thinking XS has 'daytime R1' written all over it. Can Anne 'Jessie J II' Marie go down the dumper now? Also, they're going to belatedly be all over Gerry Ladrock now aren't they? Ugh.
