Honestly thinking about I have played the first Black Ops game the most due to the addictive Zombies mode, great campaign and honestly, I quite enjoyed the regular multiplayer modes, maps and gameplay. What do you think is yours? |

If my Steam stats don't lie, Europa Universalis IV. Nearly 800 goddamn hours (albeit I know a good portion of that was the game left idling) and they're all so worth it because it's the best and most fun kind of achievement hunting and history immersion.
I bet from years prior though that Rome: Total War is close, I only started properly using Steam in 2016, I have 76 hours logged off that and I've been playing that on and off pretty much since it was released, although partially with a complete overhaul mod, Europa Barbarorum. Games with Europa in the title, that's it. |

I got to 999:59 on Pokémon Emerald so I would hazard an educated guess at that

Unless I'm forgetting something on a console, though it'd still be a tall ask, I've got roughly 1,000 hours in Team Fortress 2 that doesn't look like being overtaken any time soon.

Looking at Steam, my most played game is TF2 with 1008 hours since 01/01/2012. Although, this is on my new laptop which i never bothered installing it on... so I haven’t played it in at least a year now which is quite something. After that there’s Garry’s Mod (372 hours) and then Left 4 Dead 2 (94 hours). L4D2 I also had on Xbox back in the day though so I’ve played that a lot more than it seems.
Non-Steam, I’m fairly certain my most played game of all time would be Zoo Tycoon 2 tbh. I was literally OBSESSED with that game when I was younger, I had all the expansions and was constantly playing it for the longest time. Before that I played the original, but not as religiously. The Sims 3 is also a big one as there was a time when I worshipped that game and everything that came with it, there was even a time when I watched YouTubers playing it and just having fun (rip Quxxn) Spore and GTA Liberty City (PSP) were also big with me back then And Pokemon I guess, although not so much recently (since early 2015 I think) and even then that’s spanning across 7-8 different Pokemon games |

The original Animal Crossing on GameCube, pretty sure I've spent more time just pulling weeds than I've spent playing any other game

Obviously TES : Morrowind.
Huge game and I almost didn't play in both addons (Tribunal and Bloodmoon). Also : Diablo 2 and Civilization 2. |

I've played Super Marios Bros for the NES more times than I can count. Probably the greatest pickup and play games ever.

Probably a 3 way FIGHT TO THE DEATH between James Bond: Nightfire on the Gamecube, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 on the PC and Mario Kart Wii.

I would say either Sims 2 for PC (which I have just composed a paragraph about in the Sims thread) or Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak on Gameboy Advance Some of you may be thinking... WTF is that? at the latter game but basically my first console was a Gameboy Advance as a small child (I got it when I was about 6 I think) and at the time I was obsessed with a cartoon hamster called Hamtaro, who was created in Japan and had a TV show. A few games were made about him like this one and a Hamtaro version of the Olympic games. This was an adventure game and I found it to be very fun as a child, thus completed it many times. I revisited it a few years ago actually just so I could complete it all over again and I was probably better at it as a 6-year-old tbh.

Football Manager (across all the years) is a close second though.

Oh yes Football Manager. That eats hours. I pretty much only played it one summer and yet EUIV's only relatively recently overtaken it as my most played Steam game.

Pokemon over the years most definitely, not sure exactly which generation I have spent the most on though.

Probably Crash Team Racing in terms of individual games, but Pokemon probably eclipses it by faaar if we're counting the multiple games per generation. I must've played through RBY/GSC about 50 times in total as a kid.
More recently, it's probably GTA V. I've sunk way too much of my time into such a toxic game. I imagine Fallout 4 isn't far behind. |
