Turn it into love easily would have went top 5 as 5th single. Kylie was just huge then and fans would have bought it.

I love ‘Turn It Into Love’, it’s like the original ‘I Believe in You’/‘The One’ etc. “emoto-pop” sound that Kylie does so well. I think after ‘Especially for You’ they just wanted to move onto the next era and leave a little bit of a break in between.

Love that we have a gatefold sleeve and I’m not mad at the colours either - I’m pleased it’s getting a chance on vinyl as the only other re-issue has been the Cherry Red picture disc boxset.

Ooooh! I'm not sure which colour to go for. I don't need both... (or do I? ph34r.gif )

Think I’ll go for the pink as it compliments the inner gatefold. This was a cute thing to happen on my birthday!

I've ended up going for Pink too for that same reason! heart.gif

I wonder if albums 2, 3 and 4 will get 35th anniversary editions over the next few years too? Or if it's just a case of celebrating the debut. Time will tell!

I hope so, also I just wish that all the Kylie vinyl wasn’t ‘limited’ - let the classics be available on vinyl all the time.

I was wondering the same! Would be a nice idea to have something to look forward to each year.

I guess this rules out any chance that we would get ‘Body Language’ on vinyl for the first time for its 20th anniversary.

BMG own the rights to her PWL releases so if this sells well I’m sure we’ll get the others, BL could still be re-issued under Parlophone although Kylie doesn’t seem to acknowledge releases from them (Kylie Christmas etc.,).

So..... its just the pink vinyl that is limited? The blue one is exclusive buy doesn't say limited edition?

Actually sorry it does say limited edition for both

I guess the blue will remain exclusively sold by Townsend, but the pink version will be available via other stores too?

Maybe we've got to wait until 2038 for its 35th anniversary cry.gif (Imagine! drama.gif )

I completely agree ___∆___ - I'm hoping "limited" in this case is more of a tactic to make the fans quickly order it, and it's not actually too limited.

The drip feed of Kylie vinyl reissues or "first time on vinyl" releases over the past few years has tested my patience. kink.gif When Fever came in 2017, I allowed myself to think that albums such as Body Language and X would be on the horizon... but 6 years later and there's no signs. sad.gif

Yeah I thought this might have something to do with it, is it 25 years before they own the rights? Think she might have acknowledged the Fever release which might be why it ended up charting so high, but I guess that’s the exception.

They have some agreement with PWL over distribution and rights (Since 2017/18 I think?).

BMG actually control quite a lot of Kylie’s catalogue between the PWL, Deconstruction and BMG albums - they just need to work on acquiring the Parlophone ones now laugh.gif

I'd love them to revisit the albums for their 35th anniversaries. I know there is very limited stuff they could add as pwl didn't have huge amounts of songs left over but I'm sure they could come up with something. Live versions of songs available could be added.
