QUOTE British drum and bass duo Sigma, formed by Cameron Edwards and Joe “Wooz” Lenzie, is finally back to the music scene with upcoming new single called “Higher“. Following the huge success achieved with their latest two number 1 hit singles “Nobody to Love” and “Changing” featuring Paloma Faith, the duo wants to get his third consecutive number one with this new single. The song features English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer Labrinth and it will be released on digital retailers (UK) on March 22nd. For now, we can enjoy a first preview: http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/sigma-hig...single-preview/ |

When's their album due? It's gonna be amazing based on this and the first 2 singles (from their big breakthrough of course, they've been around for quite a while before NTL smashing)
'Higher' is sounding great from that preview anyway, gonna be their 3rd #1 isn't it? A record for a drum n' bass act if so. |

"Changing" part 2. Nice. Maybe BuzzJack will finally start appreciating Labrinth with this track.

Just got it's exclusive first play on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show.
On first listen. IT'S BRILLIANT! |

Not as good as the last two imo, two of my favourite tracks of last year so my expectations were extremely high to be fair.

Just heard this and liking it on first listen. Labrinth's verses trump the chorus in my eyes
My only concern is the release date. 22nd March seems too far and it reminds me a lot of 'Won't Look Back' - a surefire number 1 on first listen but the release date ruined its chances! Maybe another song will sneak up and beat it. |

Maybe another song will sneak up and beat it. Changing was released 2 months after premiere and that did more than just fine It's too early to properly call it but it sounds like another #1. Doesn't sound as good as Changing or even Nobody To Love on first listen but it's another great effort |

Duke Dumont had "Need U" and "I Got U" as number 1s before though, just as Sigma has had the aforementioned Nobody to Love and Changing
Everyone expected Duke's third single to get to Number 1 because of his previous success. That's why it reminds me of this new Sigma song. People saying its not as strong as his previous hits but predicting a number 1 anyway! |

I think the problem with Duke Dumont was just due to competition (if I remember clearly), he couldn't get the number one with his third single. I'm sure Sigma will have enough hype for another number one though. |

Sounds great early on but I've got bored of their 2 number 1's pretty quickly tbh, they produce some good stuff though so the album should be brilliant.
Still wish Rudeboy had more success... |

No way near as good as their first two singles. Sounds a bit like changing but just not as good. Bit disappointed.

The full sounds beautiful! Not as glorious as "Changing", but they proved that they're pretty consistent with their material.
I think the problem with Duke Dumont was just due to competition (if I remember clearly), he couldn't get the number one with his third single. I'm sure Sigma will have enough hype for another number one though. Oh God, I remember that. I also saw predictions in another forum that he wouldn't make it past "Superheroes" even. Clearly a lot of people underestimated "Prayer In C".Then again, "Won't Look Back" is easily the weakest of his singles, so I wasn't too surprised |
