The Southampton situation is really odd, it's why they made such a fuss over Van Dijk and Liverpool. Basically their owners are being investigated for something. There's loads going on behind the scenes which is a bit of a mess.

Do people think all might be not well with Conte and Chelsea following what's happening with Costa?

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we see another players revolt and him getting sacked in 2018 just like the last 2 champions but I don't think it will happen this time round.

I could definitely see Conte walking away. From what I've read, it appears that Chelsea are not getting on with a lot of his transfer targets. Plus handling the Costa situation that way was quite poor. While I don't think Costa should have leaked it in the way he did, it's definitely not good.

He could walk preseason Conte. Again it'll be interesting to see what happens there.

Jose Mourinho has been accused of committing tax fraud in Spain during his time as Real Madrid manager. I hope this isn't true, we could do without unnecessary distractions leading into the new season.

Palace look set to appoint de Boer as manager.

I am going to predict this will not end well..

I'll give him until late October if they have poor results.

Palace are a bit like Watford and Southampton. Change their manager every 5 minutes - no stability whatsoever!

To be fair on Southampton, it's usually the manager that leaves them. Puel's departure is still extremely bizarre though.

I think De Boer could be a good shout actually, remember him being linked with Everton post-Martinez.

I don't rate De Boer as a manager, Ajax fans were happy he left. I don't think he will cut it personally.

I think Pellegrino would have been a much better shot. Looks like he's going to Southampton tho.

His name is like a cross between Manuel Pellegrini & Mauricio Pochettino laugh.gif

If he's anywhere near as good as those two then Southampton could do quite well this coming season.

Again for Crystal Palace it will probably be panic buying in January when they are struggling in the bottom three.
