Actually looks pretty funny and I love the cast, seems almost like a female version of The Hangover so looking forward to it!
This plot has been done to death but ScarJo being in it makes it a must see for me. Odd seeing her cast as the prude
Looks dark, but light-hearted and funny at the same time! Intriguing!
OMG Josh!
I'm so sorry haha! I KNEW there was a topic already, but I couldn't see it from a quick skim on the first page and I dunno why I didn't "search" for it.
Oops!
That's OK, I didn't even realise you had created a new threas because they had already been merged by someone else
I just want to remind everyone that the opening post of the movie index is being updated pretty much every time a new thread is made and it's a really good resource for things like this (not a dig at you, Jonjo!!! )
Looks pretty hilarious in the trailer. Sort of a dark funny female version of The Hangover.
A lot of the jokes didn't land but there were a few bits that made me laugh and it wasn't a chore to sit through in the way that "The House", "Baywatch" and "Sisters" kinda were.
The tone of it felt a bit strange at times but the cast were likeable enough. Surprised at how badly it's performed at the box office cos I saw the trailer a lot more than "Girls Trip", guess everyone decided it looked s***.
I quite enjoyed this. Went spur of the moment on Monday not really knowing anything about it.
Eh, this was a bit run-of-the-mill/been there before and a lot of the jokes fell flat but I did enjoy it, mainly because of the cast but there were a few jokes that made me laugh too. I've found Kate McKinnon pretty annoying in everything I've seen her in before but she was probably my cast highlight here, she definitely overdid at times which got annoying but even her accent kept making me laugh and she probably had the best material. Zoe Kravitz was lots of fun too though and the one I found the most personable of the group even though she seemed a bit cold at first. The tone was a bit odd but the unusual plot made for some funny gags so I didn't mind too much (For example, I cackled when the body got washed back on to the beach in the back of their photo ).
At the end of the day, seeing Colton Haynes in a thong is worth going to see it alone. The extra laugh or two was a bonus It's no Girls Trip though...
This is totally hilarious, just seen it for the first time. I love the way it works out in the end, mega funny film!
I can see how some would call it trashy or whatever but I found it hilarious
