but all she's saying doesn't make sense, 1 year ago she already said the album was finished and done and ready... guessing the label didn't approve and sent her to do more songs...

Surely hate me will be on the album now? I still think she would be Stupid to not include close to me which almost has 400 million streams and will help her sales and chart positions

Do you think she will include the old singles? I can see them adding Close To You and Hate Me, even if it's at the end of the album
but songs like Flux or Sixteen probably won't make it now sadly :/ |

The information previously known was that "Flux" was going to be the only song to be included in the album, but this seems to be scrapped. Apparently, all of her previous releases aren't going to be there and "Worry About Me" is tipped as the lead.

Delayed due to COVID-19. Ellie was planning to release the album with the tour, but the latter isn't possible right now. A new single from her will be out next month.
From POPline: (translated from Portuguese) QUOTE Ellie is very excited to release a new song in May. The track was recorded on the singer's cell phone. The title wasn't revealed.
According to Ellie, the album will be divided into two parts. She will be singing and playing instruments (all by herself) in the first part, while "Sixteen", "Worry About Me", "Close To Me" and "Hate Me" are going to appear in the second part of the album. |
