Seeing as Diplo doesn’t have his own thread in the dance forum, I decided to make one to look back on some of his work from the year that has stood out for me. What a year Diplo has had as the following evidence shows.

Starting of course with the Top 5 hit single with Paul Woolford & Kareen Lomax. Looking For Me was certainly one of the most streamed dance singles of the year and Diplo clearly had a part to play in its commercial success.



In addition, Diplo has released three singles this year on his Higher Ground label, including the Top 100 hit On My Mind;

Turn Back Time (with Sonny Fodera)



As well as this, Diplo has been working on his Major Lazer project and released the album Music Is The Weapon earlier this year, which included tracks featuring Nicki Minaj, Alessia Cara, Marcus Mumford, Khalid, J Balvin and more.

There was also a stand alone single he released with an artist called Joji earlier this year titled Daylight.



In addition, Diplo released an album MMXX on his Higher Ground label containing 12 contemporary chilled tracks.



And to top it off, Diplo has remixed a few songs including Blinding Lights by The Weeknd and Savage by Megan Thee Stallion, both under the Major Lazer alias.

We won’t speak of his country music experiments under his name Thomas Wesley because they don’t belong in here, but another string to his bow nonetheless.

Looking forward to what he does in 2021, especially as rumours of his Silk City project with Mark Ronson seems likely to return!
