BuzzJack Music Forum _ UK Charts _ Non-Top 100 / Top 200 entries

Posted by: jafetsigfinns 6th January 2018, 09:00 AM

I’m sure this question has been asked time and time again but I just cannot seem to find it. Does anyone know where to find the list of entries entering the Top 200 from positions No. 101-200? Preferrably dating from latest to a couple of years back.

There isn't one. Zobbel.de stopped doing it a couple years back so only way to get it was Charts Plus. And the top 200 no longer exists since ACR came in.

Do you mean it just isn't publicly available? The Top 200 must still exist, in that the OCC must still compile it internally every week.

Well, it probably "exists" in that OCC internally compiles a list that goes down thousands of places (and that might only be what Alan Jones refers to as the "tracks chart", with no ACR applied), but the "top 200" is no longer a thing.

The OCC do still compile a top 200 under the old rules with no ACR applied and no restrictions on the amount of tracks by a lead artist that can chart. However it is strictly an industry only chart and is not made public. The OCC differentiate this chart from the oficcial top 100 by giving it a name along the lines of the Top 200 Comprehensive Singles chart. UKChartsPlus approached the OCC to see if it was possible for them to license this fuller chart for publication but the OCC turned down the request though the OCC did say that it wouldn't be possible "at present" which holds out hope that the OCC may change its stance at some stage.

Yes, it's called the 'Top 200 Combined Singles' but it is really not worth looking at to be honest, completely dominated by long running streaming hits-

The last time there was an entry there that wasn't on either the Top 100 and got there because of sales was 24 November 2017 when Yazoo’s “Only You” was at number 200 having sold 3,162 'chart sales' with 1,321 downloads (enough for #51 on the sales chart), so you don't tend to get many NEW entries or low selling hits unfortunately.

Oh wow that’s a sad state of things. Does anyone know the link for the pre-ACR entries? I remember seeing a website that lists the entries in a .txt format but doesn’t state whether it was a new entry or re entry.

I think you may be referring to 'Zobbel'.

He last updated in 2016, the links to http://zobbel.de/cluk/CLUK2014.HTM, and http://zobbel.de/cluk/CLUK2015.HTM - but the main site is: http://zobbel.de/cluk/CLUK_00.HTM

Looks like his last update was for the chart of 09 September 2016... http://zobbel.de/cluk/160910cluk.txt
