Wasn't sure if they'd support Cheat Codes after snubbing Sex and Let Me Hold You but I'm glad the support is there now with an original song!

Surprised but glad that Lorde is still on the A-list!

Guessing ''Find Me'' is a single now then?
Pleasantly surprised that Kasabian is on the A-List although good to see Rag'n'Bone Man & Zayn move up as well. Dirty Laundry has flopped though. R1 hyped it up and had the world-first play, yet it ends up stuck on the B-List and chucked off after several weeks. Surprised but glad that Lorde is still on the A-list! Very happy to see Sigrid up to the A list already. Cheat Codes and Demi Sigrid is on the B-List to correct you. This post has been edited by TMD_24: 14th April 2017, 10:50 AM |

I'm surprised Disciples hasn't been moved up to the A List considering it's doing well on iTunes.

Yey for Mabel! Just a bit disappointing that its her weakest song though, they should have supported 'Thinking of You'

Interesting that they don't feel like they can have two different Calvin tracks on the playlist considering they've made room for others. Not only is Calvin British but he isn't a vocalist on either tracks.

I hope TCTS get added. The original version got rinsed during the night time on R1 and Dance Anthems and 1Xtra have added it as well so it gives me hopes a bit! I can see doing a Crank It (Woah!) in some ways.

Still no Gorillaz. Extracting the urine! I see 1xtra have playlisted one, no sign of them on 6 though either. Wonder if they will get behind the new more R1-friendly Gaga song or if she's been permanently Robbie Williamsed at the grand old age of 31 no matter what she does.
Who'd have ever imagined 6 Music snubbing Albarn whilst 1xtra backed him? Whilst we're here, great 2016 Dance Anthems songs that should have made daytime: Mark Knight: Yebisah Kattison: Up and Down WHTKD: Say to Me Only snubbed because total bangers were off-trend and tedious slow and lifeless tropical house/future bass was all the rage last year, I would imagine. I think Radio 1 and Capital will get behind new GaGa. "Joanne" stuff was more Radio 2 friendly really.

Hope so, though it's rare for Radio 1 to return to an act they seemed to be finished with. However, they have only snubbed one single. Perfect Illusion never got higher than the C-list though, that's often a sign they're done with an act.

I think it's more the era didn't fit into what their demographic aim is.
Did they pick up on Maroon 5 again when "Moves Like Jagger" came out, or did they support their third album? |

R1 eventually caved in with Moves Like Jagger when they realised they'd dropped a massive testicle and their audience were massively into it - then played it constantly over the ensuing years and backed the band like feck as if to make up for it.
