Here I was hoping for something as gorgeous as 'Perfect Places', 'Team' or 'Tennis Courts' but instead... get something dull and bland.
Not for me I guess (and as a known "hater" of Lorde, I say this as someone who somewhat enjoyed a fair few tracks on 'Melodrama'!). |

as its not doing that well on Apple (#60-ish now) and can't find it anywhere on the Amazon chart |

A few listens to Solar Power this week and it is fine but I feel if it was by someone else I'd have discarded this from any playlists rather than keep it.
I've said on this forum before that Melodrama completely passed me by at the time, I hadn't see the fuss at all with the debut so just never checked it out and didn't stumble across it anywhere, this was the sort of thing I'd have expected it to sound like. |

This hasn't really grown on me since my initial listen. I do like it but I'm certainly not feeling the need to constantly play it like I felt compelled to with the material on Melodrama.

I was very underwhelmed on first listen...I like it slightly more now I've heard it a few times, but still find it a bit bland.
