Their social media seems to really be gaining followers during this lockdown for people, especially FB followers. In the 30 days since Jay's post their FB followers has risen by 22k. Their insta has also gained 6.8k.

Their subscribers on YouTube has been rising very steadily all year too. They are at 717k subscribers now.

Hopefully whenever they announce another comeback then they'll attract attention to the socials. With the Twitter and Instagram accounts they started from scratch when they announced their 2018 reunion (I don't think that applies to Facebook). It would at least be nice to see their Instagram account with over 1m followers.

I still feel like they miss the mark a bit with their social media pages... there's too much of a reliance on fans submitting their own content. I'm so not into #IAmASpiceGirl

It's totally pointless to think of it but just imagine how many followers they'd have got if the internet as we know it today had been a thing in the 90s

As a group they would have millions. Individually too. I would imagine Geri and Victoria to be the top ones with the amount of followers.

I do think the IAmASpiceGirl campaign didnt quite work, did it? It doesnt have much traction and it's not very exciting to me. They always do that, also in 2018 with the whole #IWANNABEASPICEGIRL one... it is a bit cringe ah...

I wish they had just used the hashtags #Wannabe25 and #SpiceGirls it would have probably gone a bit more viral...

Social media numbers update. Not sure why twitter lags so far behind the rest but a lot of celebs seem to have given up on twitter for the most part bar the odd promo tweet. Geri seems to have and Emma only uses it for promo these days. I think twitter is increasingly becoming more political, news, organisations focussed these days.

I don't have Tik Tok so someone younger than me will have to check lol.

The Insta rises steadily, 6 months ago it hit 700k so it has done 68k in those 6 months. The links with Coinmaster, Lego ect surely help as it exposes their social media to different people.

They don't take advantage of their Youtube enough for me. 1.04m subscribers they should be putting loads more content on the community section and posting more videos.

The behind the scenes stuff from SYBT, 2 become 1 and WDYTYA should be uploaded to there. Valentine's day was the perfect day to drop a luric video to Oxygen, loads of hearts, flowers and the lyrics. Shine a bit of light on another part of the discography.

I think 'celebrities' have moved more to insta to sell their products/lifestyle. Twitter is very much politics, social issues, general interests and sports now.

I don't think any of the girls regularly post on their individual twitter accounts these days.

Thanks to the (dying now) excitement of the SW25 globe post and David Beckham tagging the Spice Girls account, their insta is now on 819k. So added 19k in just over a month.

With Victoria on board for the documentary (and Glasto) expect the Beckhams to push the Spice girls social media more over the next few months. Hopefully that will get insta to 1m followers asap.

If only ANY of the active Spice Girls would do ANY post (not just sharing someone else's posts on their own stories) related to the gathering, or even Spiceworld25... They really are crap at promotion nowadays, lol...

Who cares if they follow each other or not. They hang out and talk all the time, and they do things together. We know this.

When Mel B got her MBE last year, Victoria went all out as a surprise, got her one of her dresses AND threw a dinner party for Mel. She didn't have to, but it was to celebrate her friend. All of this whilst not following Melanie on instagram.

At this stage, Victoria probably doesnt even remember she is not following them, and she tagged them both at various points. So... Who cares?...

They are good friends with a lot of history, they care for each other and they are there when each other need it. That's what matters.

It's quite sad what Elon Musk has done to it, it just became even more full of violence and political attacks than before, and now anyone who doesnt pay for an official badge doesnt get much traction anymore, so loads of people have abandoned the platform all together.

I think the steady rise larely seems to be from the reel they posted of them singing Wannabe acapella not too long ago. Its views seem to have been rising very steadily recently and it now has over 1.7m views and over 80k likes which is big by the girls social media standards (think it might be their most viewed reel ever).

Don't think it is paid promotion but posts/reels that go viral tend to get added in to timelines as they are popular especially if you have mutual followers who like the post.

I got that Mariah Carey reel of her in a halloween costume on a bike then a santa outfit that was crazily popular. Wasn't sponsored but a bit like this is really popular you might like it.

People evidently do like the Stop reel as it has 411k likes now as well as the 10.5m views.

It's awesome to see how much their followers have increased. They're so close to 1,050,000 (currently 1,049,621). Just 3 days after they crossed 1m! It's kind of crazy that this one successful reel has gained them 100k more followers in just a week. Approaching 10% of their followers have come on board since the reel was posted.

I (among with some other fans) recently received a love heart reaction from what appears to be a Victoria Beckham impersonator in response to separate posts we individually commented on, on the Spice Girls official Facebook page.

This Victoria Beckham has no blue and white check mark on their page and very few likes or followers.

Not sure why but the video Mel B posted where she shows off all leopard print items in her home saying she is Scary Spice of course she has said items the spice girls tiktok uploaded and it has had huge views.

5.4m as of writing this post and it has made their followers fly up too over 815k now.

Funny because 95% of their videos are now muted as Universal have taken rights away from using their music on tiktok.

Also that Mel B video is so funny as it is so staged, those oven gloves and rucksack have absolutely never been used.
