Updated - Adore You has now outsold Lights Up! It's also matched Lights Up on 12 top 40 weeks - the joint most for any Harry single, so it'll hold that record outright this coming week.

Adore You matches the top 40 weeks of I Don't Wanna Live Forever and Dusk Till Dawn. These are the solo tracks with the most weeks top 40:
1. 16 Strip That Down 2. 15 PILLOWTALK 2. 15 Slow Hands 4. 14 I Don't Wanna Live Forever 4. 14 Dusk Till Dawn 4. 14 Adore You 7. 13 Familiar 8. 12 Back to You 8. 12 For You 8. 12 Lights Up Adore You has one more week before ACR, unless it increases, so unfortunately it won't quite top the list, but still VERY impressive!! |

Adore You is now joint 2nd for most top 40 weeks for a 1D solo single. It's avoided ACR again (!) so it should easily take the record for itself in 2 weeks' time!!
No Judgement also becomes a top 40 hit this week, up to #32 - Niall's fifth top 40. |

Updated for the last 2 weeks. Amazingly, Adore You's still got at least 3 more weeks before it hits ACR. It's currently on 18 weeks top 40, What Makes You Beautiful had 20. It's basically guaranteed to become the overall longest-running 1D hit

The sales in the UK are really really low??
Its been 2 years since Strip That Down hit 948k and History is at 908k for 1 year and 2 months... the 1m mark will never come? And congrats to Niall on his 2nd Platinum single. If TT is at 600k so Slow Hands is at 800k since its receiving more streams daily... This post has been edited by Rafael x: Apr 20 2020, 11:26 PM |

All that means is that we've not had any proper updates in that time. Strip That Down is certainly over 1m now and I expect History's not far off.

Updated. Adore You's now matched WMYB as expected, it will take the record for most weeks top 40 next week
Black and White has been added to Niall's singles. While Watermelon Sugar still isn't confirmed as a Harry single, it's now passed 300k. Lights Up is just a few hundred off going gold |

The longevity of 'Adore You' is remarkable, especially compared to his other hits. I wonder what it was in particular that has kept it going so long, or has it just been lucky to avoid ACR at the right times?
'Falling' is having a nice Top 40 run too, should achieve a higher sale total than 'Lights Up' with some ease. |
