This week's (rather short) commentary is now on the front page and in the latest news box.

QUESTIONS -- Could someone please tell me how many Weeks the Sam Smith Album has spent in the Top 5?
And the X Album by Ed Sheeran? How many Top 10 Weeks, (& Top 5), has the George Ezra Album had? Thanks.

QUEEN -- The OCC are giving Greatest Hits by Queen 613 Chart Weeks, this Week. Does anyone know how they get
that Total? It is far too high for its Top 75 Weeks & far too low for its Top 100 Weeks.

THE UK'S TOP 6 MOST CHARTING ALBUMS

The W/E 17th January Chart is one of the very rare occasions, that all 6 Albums are in the Top 100 at the same time.
Queen at No.35, ABBA at No.45, Bob Marley & The Wailers at No.61, Fleetwood Mac at No.79, Meat Loaf at No.91, &
Pink Floyd at No.100.

So I thought that I'd show where they now are, regarding UK Chart Weeks.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

LIST A…..ALBUMS WITH THE MOST TOP 75 WEEKS

1)... Gold - Greatest Hits - ABBA - 474 Weeks
2)... Bat Out Of Hell - Meat Loaf - 451 Weeks
3)... Greatest Hits - Queen - 438 Weeks
4)... Legend - Bob Marley & The Wailers - 428 Weeks
5)... Rumours - Fleetwood Mac - 417 Weeks
6)... The Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd - 365 Weeks

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Using the method, that the Guinness & Virgin Chart Books used, Greatest Hits (One), by Queen has become
the 2nd Album to reach 500 Chart Weeks. It has done so in the latest Chart - W/E 17th January. But 'only'
438 of its 500 Weeks are Top 75 Positions. The other 62 Weeks are No.76 to No.100 Positions from the 1980's.
Just as 'only' 417 of Rumours 529 Weeks are Top 75 Weeks. The other 112 Weeks are No.76 to No.100 Weeks
from the 1980's.

LIST B…..UK ALBUMS WITH THE MOST CHART WEEKS

1)... Rumours - Fleetwood Mac - 529 Weeks
2)... Greatest Hits - Queen - 500 Weeks

4)... Gold - Greatest Hits - ABBA - 474 Weeks
5)... Legend - Bob Marley & The Wailers - 458 Weeks
6)... The Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd - 383 Weeks

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

LIST C…..UK ALBUMS WITH THE MOST TOP 100 WEEKS

Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran have both been in the top 5 for their entire chart runs apart from one week at #6 each (i.e. Sam has 32 top 5 weeks and Ed has 28). George Ezra has been in the top 10 for his entire 28 weeks as well, including 19 weeks in the top 5.

Re: Queen that would be their top 200 weeks since 1994 (the same as with all other albums and singles).
