We have to be careful not to step on the pre-2000’s stuff though so I would probably suggest Blue, Liberty X and Atomic Kitten

Yeah best to be careful with anything outside the 2000s really. Those 3 in a mixed up rate would be a good idea though.

Bumping this this to say we are allowed the 2010's in rates going forth! If anyone wants to run a rate of any kind (could even be non music related) then feel free!

QUOTE(dan-G @ Aug 6 2020, 10:00 PM) *
slightly related to Cameron's point, we have a sub-forum for finished Survivor polls to be dumped into to make artist forums look neater (which I admittedly forgot about too), perhaps that could be used for this forum? (and click 'no' on 'Leave a link to the new topic in the source forum')

I asked the higher-ups and the idea got rejected. sad.gif

Oh I see there may be some confusion just to clarify I didn't mean creating a new sub-forum specifically for 00s, rather just dumping old 00s survivor threads in 'artist forum archive', or do mgmt only want that forum for actual AFs to dump their old polls?

Pardon my lateness to this comment (First I wasn’t a mod back then and second I didn’t read this thread until today oops), I quite like the idea of “tidying” the forum a bit, but I’m not sure the best way to do this. Maybe between me, Rob and James, we can find a better way to “archive” older closed polls from past survivors. I did start an index that I pinned a long time ago but I realised recently that I failed to keep it up to date, but I think it would be good to make a personal project to index past rates and survivors for easy reference, along with album reviews we have done too. So I might make that my own project, but I would like to revisit Dan’s idea from 2020 and see if we can find a way to tidy up a bit…

Any thoughts from my fellow mods? wink.gif

Definitely approve of some way of clearing up the survivors etc as they are hanging around which looks like a littering thread fest when you look at the pages further along oops.

Not sure, if anybody will have interest in it, but my suggestion.

- Any "first impression" rate for low-known / unknown (for the majority of forum) acts or songs.
