This would be my setlist, obviously would love more songs to be performed but trying to be realistic.
-GOOD TIMES- WANNABE WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE/BAG IT UP/LET YOUR HEAD GO (Group performance) NEVER GIVE UP ON THE GOOD TIMES IF YOU WANNA HAVE SOME FUN (Two minute version) -MOTOWN- STOP MAYBE (Emma solo) TOO MUCH -MELANIE C- MELANIE C SOLO SECTION (Medley of Never Be The Same Again, I Turn To You, Think About It) -RNB- SAY YOU’LL BE THERE (in leather/latex) HOLLER (TELL ME WHY samples) FEELS SO GOOD (Melanie B solo) NAKED -LOVE SONGS- 2 BECOME 1 VIVA FOREVER -BACK TOGETHER- SPICE UP YOUR LIFE WE ARE FAMILY HEADLINES (FRIENDSHIP NEVER ENDS) GOODBYE -ENCORE- WANNABE/SPICE UP YOUR LIFE (Olympics Medley) Alternatively, if the group performed solo songs collectively then i'd like to include; What Took You So Long I Know Him So Well Bag It Up For Once In My Life |

It would be quite a nice touch to have a medley of solo songs where they each perform one of their songs.

I really wouldn't want a 'disco covers track/s' I'd much rather we got album tracks.
I'm up for solo numbers though, I feel like their solo careers are very much a part of the Spice story, especially the 98/99/00 ones. |

I feel the same and some of those early solo hits were almost as big as the group hits (bigger if you include Stop and Holler) I'd want different ones this time though. Never Be The Same Again Bag It Up What Took You So Long I Want You Back Let Your Head Go Would be pretty cool. |

I’d much rather they performed some more Spice Girls album tracks, than performing solo songs!
If they insisted on including solo, I’d rather it be done as a medley (so it came across as one performance with a continuous instrumental that linked the songs together). Like, a verse and a chorus of each. Dedicate no more than a minute and a half per girl. I’m not sure which five solo songs would best compliment each other in a medley though. |

I turn to you 3. Out of your mind (hahahaha as if Victoria would) 4. What took you so long 5. I want you back That could merge fairly well I bet Melanie C would insist on a solo number, it's a way to continue to promote her solo career afterall. Pretty sure Geri would want one too and Emma. Mel B probably wouldn't give a crap and Victoria would be a huge NOOOOO! |

I was disappointed Mel B's solo moment on that tour was a cover. Even though Victoria didn't sing, admittedly her catwalk moment was pretty fierce. Although a recreation of the Let Your Head Go video (specifically with the throne) would have been amazing! |

I'd like to see a dance medley of these solo songs:
I Want You Back Let Your Head Go I Turn To You It's Raining Men Maybe I know it would never happen. But I think the girls could perform the songs together, with each girl taking the lead on their song. That way if Victoria preferred to do something creative with a throne and/or a catwalk, the others could share the vocal a bit more. A medley could be spectacular. 1) Maybe > Ride It > Let Your Head Go > For Once In My Life > I Turn To You or 2) Lift Me Up > Today > First Day of My Life > A Mind Of Its Own > Take My Breathe Away |

For me the ideal setlist:
- the 13 single tracks; - NOOO celebration medley, no covers (at most only one like "We are family"); - only a few solo songs, better a medley: What took you so long/Let your head go (if Victoria approves )/Look at me/Never be the same again + eventual new Melanie C's single/Feels so good; - Song for her by Geri, Emma and Mel B(however part of the Spice Girls history); - a new official single; - some other trio songs or duets like Sisters by Mel B and Melanie C or I know him so well by Emma and Melanie C (these are covers i know ); - more album tracks not played in the previous tour and not included in the GH, then no Move over and NOOOO Voodoo: I'd love a poll on the official website of one non-single track chosen by fans to play in tour or to include on the new possible Greatest Hits, it could be a great idea. If there ends up being a tour, I would love for them to include some B-Sides (Take Me Home anybody?) and the one track from the first two albums that they haven't performed, which is Last Time Lover. Assuming the tour would be all 5 (we can all dream right?) I think it would be fitting to do a setlist full of songs from the 5 of them only, maybe with the exception being Holler.

I'd expect the most popular album track to be 'Never Give Up On The Good Times'.
But I'd most enjoy something I'd never heard them do before. I really like 'Take Me Home'. So cool and moody. It somehow feels really 90s London. 'Outer Space Girls', 'Walk of Life' or even 'Strong Enough' could be fun though. I think no more 'We Are Family'. And as much as I loved 'Sisters' at the time, they could easily choose a new song to cover. This post has been edited by Michael Andrew: 6th March 2018, 08:01 AM |
