Redbone surely has Traditional in the bag <3 I hope SZA gets a couple at least, Ctrl is slightly better than Awaken My Love for me but either of them winning Urban Contemporary Album would be fab, Love Galore is easily the best on the Rap/Sung list too. In the categories they're in, as long as one of those wins I'm happy. Khalid wouldn't be so bad for R&B song I guess.
Bodak Yellow for the rap categories *.* |

Nominations here are really solid across the board, but A Tribe Called Quest should really be amongst it.

What is the difference between traditional R&B and R&B for the categories? Is it a genre difference? It seems unlikely as surely That's What I Like is traditional R&B being based more on old school R&B styles yet it wasn't in that category.

Redbone is a proper 70s sounding sort of funk-soul song though so is more "traditional" but TWIL is also quite old school, so god knows
Yaass at Redbone winning one even if it was the "irrelevant" one.. Gutted SZA didn't win anything over The Weeknd and Bruno bloody Mars. I've got a horrible feeling he'll win song, album and record :/ |
