Can't believe they haven't had a 'third single' from an album since early 2009.

So i'm guessing it's not a ballad considering we have Travie McCoy on the track. Great, that'll REALLY help boost album sales for the Christmas period.
Travie is practically a one-hit wonder. Out of all the rappers they could have used (Plan B?), they go with him? URGH!! And anyway, why do they need a rapper?? First Higher and now this?? |

We haven't even heard the track yet, it might need it, it might not The girls have said themselves it's getting no more danceyer as 'All Fired Up' so we can't rule it sounding like a balad just yet, even if that Tanya Lacey has described it as a "summer anthem" hmm. |

I really hope this is not the third single, a ballad would be perfect (assuming this isn't) releasing a 'summer anthem' in winter would be silly and like mentioned before a ballad would help sell the album, like Issues did for Chasing Lights. I'd prefer if this was like a fourth/fifth single or something because fifth single's dont sell THAT well, however it might do well with Travie McCoy on the track.

Am I being dumb? But that article says "they['ve] cut a song called "The Way You Watch Me"" yet it's now a rumoured single?

Am I being dumb? But that article says "they['ve] cut a song called "The Way You Watch Me"" yet it's now a rumoured single? A super-reliable Universal source said the next single has been written and produced by Lucas Secon, which features Travie McCoy. Put two and two together with the article found above...... |

I do hope the album is NOT out in 2012. I want to sing along with the songs on the tour. I doubt the girls will want the crowd to be half-dead during their first ever arena tour and not know the words...
But if the girls themselves have said that it's coming out in November, why would the insider say in 2012? In terms of the single I read (maybe on here or on their fansite) that they are releasing a slower song for their next single, along the same tempo as Issues, so this would kinda of blow the current rumoured song out of the water? As I say, only rumours. |

As I say, only rumours. Not necesarily. Currently, this is their next single. "Summer anthem" can mean many many things, I'm guessing people are seeing the word 'anthem' and thinking "OMG it's gonna be All Fired Up p2". I'm just going by what people from Universal have said, it's down for 2012 release for "some reason", and it's been down for 2012 for a long time they say. However, it's only now that this LP wasn't showcased at the Universal Christmas showcase that it's starting to make a little more sence. After putting in alot of money into this project I'm sure the label are just being cautious. |

2012 seems odd, when The Sats have said on more than one occasion that the album is slated for November 2011.
A summer anthem released in winter? Right... lol, what are these girls like. |

By summer anthem I imagine it will be something like What's My Name, Price Tag, I'm Into You etc. - especially with Travie on it. So something very different from them again!

There's no way that they can tour an album without actually releasing said album.. that would make no sense at all.

Exactly! I don't doubt the girls when they have said "It's coming out in November", but the lack of precise information like the date for example sets alarm bells ringing that Universal are still yet to decide on a date and could be waiting to measure the success of All Fired Up. The fact that they didn't show the album at the Universal Xmas showcase is also a bit of a worrier. The album should have been made available to pre-order prior to the release of Notorious therefore people who where interested in that would have pre-ordered it, and chances are now they've forgot about the album - if they're casual listeners. They could have also used the pre-orders to measure when they should bring the album out too. The Saturdays have been notoriously ( ) late (see Wordshaker, 2wks before the release was a joke) when it comes to actually confirming when their LPs are coming out. I really don't think this is the next single I think it's probably another track they've done with Lucas Secon
