I don't get the second figure, it's almost the position in the mids but not quite... Viola Beach here at #41 but #39 in the mids

Trending isn't a very scientific word anyway.

Maybe its based on increased sales/streams? So Zara would have gained the most sales/streams on the chart compared to last week? Rather confusing though.

I'm slightly confused at why it says #41 for Viola Beach? If they were #39 yesterday, they won't have fallen after the huge increases on iTunes

I assumed this was going to track "trending" on social media like one of the Billboard charts which looks at social media mentions and general interest on the internet and increasing discussion for songs etc
I think that would've made more sense, this just seems totally pointless unless i'm missing something. I also thought I could use this to discover loads of new music that was slowly creeping up the charts but it's just all the hits I already knew that haven't made it big yet lol. |

I think this is just Monday mids data but with somehow just a tiny bit of less data, either some missing or early cut...
it' clearly not Tue data cos Viola Beach would be higher and it's not Mon data + streams cos They wouldn't be in the same position This post has been edited by Bjork: 16th February 2016, 07:53 PM |
