I hope there will be some EE wins! The show has been back on form under Chris Clenshaw and they have some great acting talent.

Posting my predictions here!!

Best Leading Performer
Charlotte Jordan (Daisy Midgeley, Coronation Street)
Danielle Harold (Lola Pearce-Brown, EastEnders) (Think will win) + want to win
Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean, EastEnders)
Sally Dexter (Faith Dingle, Emmerdale)
Dominic Brunt (Paddy Dingle, Emmerdale)

Best Villain
Todd Boyce (Stephen Reid, Coronation Street) (Think will win)
Laura White (Princess Buchanan, Doctors)
Aaron Thiara (Ravi Gulati, EastEnders) (want to win)
Michael Wildman (Al Chapman, Emmerdale)
Angus Castle-Doughty (Eric Foster, Hollyoaks)

Best Young Performer
Jude Riordan (Sam Blakeman, Coronation Street) (think will win)
Lillia Turner (Lily Slater, EastEnders) (want to win)
Huey Quinn (Kyle Winchester, Emmerdale)
Jayden Fox (Bobby Costello, Hollyoaks)

Best British Soap
Coronation Street
Doctors
EastEnders (Think will win + want to win)
Emmerdale
Hollyoaks

Panel-voted categories
Best Comedy Performance
Maureen Lipman (Evelyn Plummer, Coronation Street) (think will win + want to win)
Ian Midlane (Al Haskey, Doctors)
Jonny Freeman (Reiss Colwell, EastEnders)
Samantha Giles (Bernice Blackstock, Emmerdale)
Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay, Hollyoaks)

Best Dramatic Performance
Charlotte Jordan (Daisy Midgeley, Coronation Street) (wouldn’t be mad if Charlotte won this as I think it’s her best shot but think it’s Danielle’s for sure)
Chris Walker (Rob Hollins, Doctors)
Danielle Harold (Lola Pearce-Brown, EastEnders) (think will win)
Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle, Emmerdale)
Nikki Sanderson (Maxine Minniver, Hollyoaks)

Best Single Episode
Acid attack (Coronation Street)
'Anything But Magnolia' and 'If Wishes Were Horses' – Karen's death (Doctors)
Goodbye Dot (EastEnders)
All-male man club episode (Emmerdale)
The Long Walk Home (Hollyoaks)

The most powerful category and hardest to call. Can’t say what I most want to win but can potentially see Emmerdale taking this one.

Best Newcomer
Channique Sterling-Brown (Dee-Dee Bailey, Coronation Street)
Kia Pegg (Scarlett Kiernan, Doctors)
Aaron Thiara (Ravi Gulati, EastEnders) (think + want to win)
William Ash (Caleb Miligan, Emmerdale)
Anya Lawrence (Vicky Grant, Hollyoaks)

Best Family
The Platts (Coronation Street)
The Millars (Doctors)
The Slaters (EastEnders) (want to win)
The Dingles (Emmerdale) (think will win)
The McQueens (Hollyoaks)

Best Storyline
Daisy's stalking hell (Coronation Street)
Valerie and the forged prescription (Doctors)
Loving and losing Lola (EastEnders) (want to win)
Paddy's suicide attempt (Emmerdale)
Incel Eric targets Mason and Maxine (Hollyoaks) (potentially see Hollyoaks taking this one)

Scene of the Year
The acid attack (Coronation Street) (potentially see this taking it hard to say what I want to win though strong competition)
Hell is Empty – the explosion (Doctors)
Whitney and Zack say goodbye to Peach (EastEnders)
Paddy's suicide attempt (Emmerdale)
Zoe tells abused Maxine "It's not your fault" (Hollyoaks)

Best On-Screen Partnership
David Neilson and Maureen Lipman (Roy Cropper and Evelyn Plummer, Coronation Street)
Chris Walker and Jan Pearson (Rob and Karen Hollins, Doctors)
Jamie Borthwick and Danielle Harold (Jay Brown and Lola Pearce-Brown, EastEnders) (think + want to win) this is probably Doctors best shot for an award though but it’s the only UK soap I don’t watch so I can’t comment but going off those who’ve seen it I think it could win here.
Mark Charnock and Dominic Brunt (Marlon Dingle and Paddy Dingle, Emmerdale)
Richard Blackwood and Jamie Lomas (Felix Westwood and Warren Fox, Hollyoaks)

Agreed - Amazing given a few years ago how bad the state of the show was.

A laughably big gulf between the 'expert' panel and the public though.
