I swear I have dreams of Jonjo creating all these threads and then I come to search and they don't exist. laugh.gif

I liked it enough, a toss up between a 7/10 or a 8/10 but think I've settled on the former. James McAvoy is very good but my main disappointment with it is that it's advertised as Kevin having 23 distinct personalities (something written on the posters), but we only get to see a limited number of them so it felt underdeveloped in that sense IMO. Also not sure if I made entire sense of the ending with Bruce Willis popping up (I think it links back to the movie "Unbreakable" which I haven't seen, Wiki describes this as a thematic sequel).

This looks fantastic from the trailer, the type of bizarre wtf film I usually really enjoy, definitely seeing next week.

Though it got a bit flawed and silly toward the end I thought this was quite tense and really pretty good!

Absolutely fantastic. Seriously loved it! McAvoy was outstanding and it was great to see Anya used to her her full potential too, after the quite bad 'Morgan'! The ending did indeed tie in to 'Unbreakable'! It completely threw me off haha! I swear I've read this topic and completely missed Jahq's comment about it (thankfully). laugh.gif

P.s. could someone spoiler that part Jahq's post please haha!

I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did, in all honesty I was expecting it to be a bit scary for me but it was OK in that sense haha laugh.gif I loved the idea of all the different personalities and they were all very interesting, Hedwig was probably my favourite as he had the largest number of laughs. Watching James McAvoy switch between the personalities and the little intricacies in his performance were very clever. I enjoyed how tense it was and my heart was beating loads in the end during The Beast scenes, I loved the shot of him on the ceiling knocking out the lights. I didn't really get the very end scene as I haven't seen that film but it seemed to be a popular twist and I'm glad this is getting pretty good reviews.

Yeah I also really enjoyed this, I liked how it got straight into it from pretty much the first scene & balanced the tense parts in the room with the Dr's meetings & such. I agree with Jahq in that it would have been nicer to see more of the distinct personalities but the ones that were shown were well developed & that ending I did not see coming at all! The zoo rather than the Unbreakable reference as I also haven't seen that one.

Same.
I am very fascinated by this topic so I loved this.

Up until watching the movie I thought it was TOM HANKS on the poster ALL THIS TIME. How embarrassing oops
