Hi all,

I was looking at changing the format slightly for BuzzJack's ROTY - with having a group of 10 (maybe more if necessary) for each of the most successful / BJ favourite songs of each month. Results would work exactly the same at the end of the year, just the group allocation wouldn't be random.

Please let me know a preference and if monthly does prevail, I will start Jan and Feb's within a week or so.

Monthly would be fun (and more based on what people like liking right now rather than in 12 months time). Maybe also have another at the end of the year but with only the Top 3/5 from each month, counting the rest as like monthly semi finals

Yeah, was going to do a wildcard at the end of the year as well (possibly from songs that have been missed out or gained success gradually)

I'd say we should give it a go! I guess all songs would be fairly affected by recency so it'd be interesting to see if there's any change? Would you do it for songs released that month or whatever's most prominent at the time and hasn't been included yet?

We used to have a 'record of the month' or something to that effect, would be nice to have that back and also as a tie in to record of the year!
