I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this yet as in previous years on the forum so I thought I'd start it - discussion of all this year's guest performers on the live shows and the subsequent chart boosts they enjoy (or perhaps don't) in here! Your first guest performers on this weekend's live shows (31st October) are... BEN HAENOW performing his new single 'Second Hand Heart' (Saturday) LITTLE MIX Performing their new single 'Love Me Like You' (Sunday) ELLIE GOULDING Performing her hit single 'On My Mind' (Sunday) Ben of course was last year's winner and had the Christmas number one with his victory track 'Something I Need'. It's already peaked in the top 30 with on-air on-sale release...will he be looking at a second top 10 after this weekend? Little Mix's second single (along with several instant grat teasers) from their hotly anticipated third album and follow up to the mega huge 'Black Magic' from the summer has already been a long stayer inside the chart, we could hopefully be seeing a nice booster for that into the top 10/20. Ellie of course has already shot into the top 10 with the lead single from her new album 'Delirium', so could hopefully see a new peak following this weekend's performance... aren't Little Mix and Ellie Goulding performing this weekend too?
I'm sure Ben will have a chart boost from this but not enough to go top 10 |

Any predictions to who we think might be on in future weeks? Olly and One Direction are obvious look ins as always, obviously Fleur East will probably be on as well with her first single. I've heard talk of Janet Jackson potentially being on this year, The Corrs have mentioned they'd like to perform as well so maybe we'll see them on this year...

Adele will obviously be their #01 choice. I wonder if she'll choose them or Strictly Others.. 1D are all but confirmed for a performance, I'm sure Simon's said he wants their last performance before their break to be on The X Factor. Not that it's not obvious anyway.
Jase's list looks likely. I'd imagine Sam Smith, Years & Years, Jess Glynne, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Demi Lovato in particular are good shouts. Michael Bublé will be shoehorned in somewhere, and I'd expect Take That to perform Hey Boy. Would be nice to see James Bay get one too but not sure if it'll happen (then again, Tom Odell had one in 2013 so you never know). |

I'm hoping they bag Madge, finally. She's in the UK around the time of the semi's and final. It won't happen of course, but I can dream.

Im hoping Kylie can get a slot promoting her Christmas album, i would love Take That as well. I really hope Ben Haenow get a good boost from his performance as i think its a really good song.
I can see the acts such as Jess Glynne, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, One Direction, Olly Murs, Demi Lovato (i would be certain of) all performing. I can see Ella Henderson possibly getting a slot if she has any plans for an album re-issue. Janet and The Corrs would be great, whatever about Janet but i cant see the powers that be thinking the Corrs will be cool enough for a slot. |

^ Surely Olly will appear the weekend the re-release of his album is out?
Praying that Janet gets a slot, because the 'Unbreakable' album is too good to fade so soon. I do hope Kylie will be on too. |
