The cover pic for the Spotify playlist
 I was slightly fearing how long the playlist would work out to with this many entries and UP's propensity to attract long songs but I see we don't have too many of them so it's still under 3 hours in the end, manageable enough - great to see such a high turnout anyway, looking forward to hearing everything! I do know quite a lot of the artists already (excited to hear a new-to-me song from Drab Majesty in particular, albeit I'm mildly surprised they were allowed in x), also have been half expecting the likes of Lil Ugly Mane and Spanish Love Songs to eventually turn up in a BuzzJack contest somewhere for a while, not really delved into their music much so interested to see if these songs live up to the hype I've seen for those artists. The song I wanted to send but got blocked was 'the lonely girl' - I'm calling that either being Rich's entry or being an impending high scorer for him, would say it sounds very up his street. A little gutted to have lost it but good luck to whoever did send it! (I also see another song on the list that I'd listened to when looking for an entry but thought it was just ok, will see if it sounds better when hearing again for the contest). |

Had this on shuffle earlier today... there's definitely some good stuff there but it did feel like quite a lot to get through in one sitting and consequently there were quite a lot that got lost on first listen. Will definitely need another couple of listens to decide what ultimately stands out.
