It's being distributed by The Weinstein Company (Lion, The King's Speech, Silver Linings Playbook) who have a good track record with awards success and some of this cast have previous nominations too. Maybe Michael Shannon, king of randomly getting a supporting actor nomination with no precursor support, might do the impossible (improbable) a third time?!?
