34 Never Forget You (10 votes, 12.35%)

It kinda says it all that I didn't realise this even existed until Jay and I began these polls Never Forget You makes for a slightly ironic title! The song appears on Mariah's Music Box album and released as the third single in the US, as a double a-side with Without You. It was the first Mariah single to not have a music video (which may explain why I barely knew about it lol). Nonetheless, you weren't so keen on it and it flops out at #34.



33 I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time (feat. T.I.) (9 votes, 11.11%)

So after ALL THE FUSS in round 1 about this being left out, it got added in round 2 and just two rounds later, it's back out again. Definitely worth it Anyway, I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time was released as the third single from E=MC² with a new single remix featuring T.I., and it failed to make much of an impact worldwide, not reaching the top 40 in either the UK or the US. It's a solid song though and I'd personally have liked to see it last a bit longer!



=31 Bye Bye (9 votes, 8.64%)

We say bye bye to two E=MC² singles this round, with the second single Bye Bye now making an exit in joint 31st. The follow-up to worldwide smash Touch My Body, Bye Bye experienced considerably less success, but lyrically, it's much more powerful, as the song is for anyone who has lost someone close to them. It's a heartwarming song although not one of my absolute favourites.

Finally, the last casualty of round 4 is Mariah's duet with Luther Vandross, on a cover of the Diana Ross and Lionel Richie song Endless Love. The song was a commercial success worldwide, reaching #3 in the UK and #2 in the US, outpeaking the original in the former!
