I am not suprised about the recent announcement regarding that character. I didn't see a future for him when his storylines came to a close last year.7
I am still gutted about Vanessa leaving. She's really come out more as a character over the past 2 weeks. |

Yeah, that was rumoured a little while ago and i think it is true. Lauren's crush on Ryan has developed. But whether Ryan acts back is unknown just yet.

They should delve into Vanessa's OCD more before she leaves, I have OCD and would really like to see a soap cover it properly to make people more aware of it.

Ehh I don't really mind about that one. I thought she could be a great character at first but they haven't really done much with her at all sadly. And there can only be so many scenes in which she's accused of stealing something surely? Seems to be the only time she's ever on screen.

There was some potential there and I think the actor is very natural and certainly better than Billy (although a good match for him romantically) but their scenes yesterday just went to show how the show doesn't know what to do with them so not a big issue really.
It does seem odd to bring in their granddaughter just for ---Julie--- to leave a few weeks later but there you go. |
