Lucie last released an album in 2007, so it's about time for another one! I don't believe she's with Mercury anymore, or any record label for that matter. But she says it's nearly done and it's due out THIS SPRING!
She's put up a song, called Roots, for free download from her Soundcloud page: soundcloud.com/luciesilvasmusicofficial (can't post proper links yet, not at 20 posts). It's gonna be on the album, called Letters To Ghosts. |

Breathe In was a very good album, I hope she can return to those standards!

I remember listening to her songs and being a fan of her. She had a song in 2005, it was a huge radio hit in my country but can't think of the title song!!! |

That song Roots is beautiful I liked a few of her songs but never got into her albums. Might check them out.

Breathe In was a GREAT album, it was the perfect interlude for me in between Delta's first two albums. I didn't think much of her second album at all, I can barely remember a thing about it besides the two singles, which were actually pretty good.

Oh, I really loved the second album. There were some great tracks on there, and it had my fave Lucie song, which is Passionate You.

Lucie has CONFIRMED on her Twitter account that Letters To Ghosts is due for release in MAY 2012!
Also, she said on Facebook that she is shooting the video for the first single TODAY, and we can hear it VERY SOON! I can't wait, honestly. Whatever Lucie does is brilliant, from her own solo material to songs she writes for others, such as Last Call by The Saturdays. |

She has basically confirmed "Happy" as the first single. She's performed this at the Bedford before, fantastic song. Not expecting it to do much, however brilliant the song is.

I only really liked 'Place To Hide' from the second album. The first was really good and she's immensely talented.

Both her albums are amazing. Didn't think much of Roots, mostly because of it's ghastly introduction. I do have high hopes for Letters To Ghosts though.

The introduction yes it's weird but when Lucie sings "there is fear in the thought of freedom" it goes uphill from there.
From her previous albums, 'Last man standing', 'Passionate you' and 'Place to hide' stand out to me. |

Even I'm not the introduction's massive fan, but the rest of the song is just divine and I got goosebumps the first time I heard it. I remember waiting all day to get my free download. |

I actually went on Audactity and cut out the intro It's very odd, thankfully the song post-intro is amazing!
