No 'Army' is the only real surprise this week. Disappointed to see 'Kiss Me' dropped already, was hoping it might get A-listed.

I'm glad The Hills is gone. I was so sick of hearing.
Quite disappointed for Olly, I find it quite odd considering they've been such big fans in the past and his performance on Sunday is sure to give the song a big boost. Yes for 99 Souls, I'm so pleased but not surprised as R1 are the main place that championed the song way back when. Another week A list for Love Me Like You? *.* |

Great adds for 99 Souls, Major Lazer and Wretch 32 this week. Alright With Me sounded big when i first heard it, so hopefully now it can start gathering some hype.
On another note, apparently the Protoje/Chronixx song is the first pure reggae song on the full playlist since Welcome To Jamrock way back in 2005!? Can anyone confirm this? We've had Kiko Bun and Shy FX on the INMWT list and Sean Paul/Stylo G are more dancehall. Was Hold Yuh supported? |

Jeez at LMLY, thought that was a cert to be dropped this week. Got to say, I'm very impressed with R1's support of LM this era, especially after all the tracks post-Move from their last campaign only reached the B-list.
Good to see Jamie xx (must've missed that last week), Jess, and Robin Schulz on the A-list too! This post has been edited by Defaze: 18th November 2015, 07:54 PM |

Got to say, I'm very impressed with R1's support of LM this era, especially after all the tracks post-Move from their last campaign only reached the B-list. I guess it's to do with how well their album is selling off the back of LMLY, and it's looking to have a long running stint in the top 40, despite not making the top 10. I have a feeling Radio 1 will switch the to the Christmas Mix come December. Jamie xx is still climbing so i'm really glad to see him get another week. 'Kiss Me' vanishing is probably because of this massively overblown 'backlash' against Olly and the whole blooper on X Factor thing. Ah to be in the mind of such petty people...

Artists have done much more controversial things and still made the playlist. Bieber has made the headlines for the wrong reasons loads lately. Rihanna in the past... |
