It all went downhill when Rudd ditched the Sandi Toksvig look.
And just to remind people not to get too excited that this might lead to May resigning - because it paves the way for Prime Minister Rees-Mogg within weeks. |

Now I’m no expert but your Home Secretary resigning four days before the local elections doesn’t strike me as good news!

Now I’m no expert but your Home Secretary resigning four days before the local elections doesn’t strike me as good news! That's never stopped any of the rest of us! BBC News has mentioned a few potential candidates for the role, Sajid Javid has been suggested as a front runner (probably for the optics), and Michael Gove as well, which would be a Lazarus-esque return to front line politics for Pob. |

you can only rule as a minority government for so long, history teaches that very clear
you have may bullied into no customs stance into a parliament where it no backing (now more than ever) lies and europe always undo the tories now more than ever |

June 2017: Amber Rudd stands in for Theresa May by taking part in the leaders debate instead of her. April 2018: Amber Rudd stands in for Theresa May by resigning over the hostile environment fiasco instead of her. I'm screaming!!!! |

hunt to the home office surely No they use sleazy thunder twat for their shady dealingw. His job is to privatise the NHS as he set out in 06 Urgh Mad May only did this as even the Tory friendly media was forced to report on her being woeful. And to deflect from herself being the one to blame by throwing a sacrificial lamb to public opinion slaughter. She just did it to cling onto power. Watch the BBTory et al DEEEESPERATELT try to focus on and hint else. Baby Luis' first dummy? More Corbyn smears. This time claiming right wing Russian trolls trying to get Brexit also wanted Corbyn? I would side with an army of Russian Twitter trolls rather than the BBTory and Tories personally anyway. But Russia is right wing. It wants Tories in anyway, or a hung parliament. But anyway. Watch them shift focus as SOON AS POSSIBLE. It won't be BBC headline news for weeks as it is not Labour. But you can tell IR's big when CNN has it as it's THREE top stories and main headline, all criticising the government over the scandal. Even the BBTory couldn't paint the Tories as wonderful under all this, although they do try. Bless. |

If he lasts another month and two days he'll become the longest serving health secretary ever. Already overtaken Bevan. : ( Must have a LOT of dirt on someone high up. No. He is there to privatise following his 06 document on how to do it. That is why he is still there. He does their dirty work and he was the one behind the privatisation methods they are using. |

Her resignation is absolutely no loss at all. Now if she could take the rest of the cabinet and the PM (and the entire tory party tbh) with her to the dole line that'd be fab

One of the things that forced Rudd out was a memo signed by her and sent to May pledging to increase the number of deportations. Most people would interpret that as some form or target. Therefore, not only did Rudd lie, but May knew she was lying. Despite that, May didn't sack her.
