She truly brought it with the Vroom Vroom EP so I can't wait for this. And the Lil Yachty feature excites me even more.

Just heard the full leaked version. It's a future pop smash! cheer.gif

Posted by: J▲hq 27th October 2016, 12:24 PM

Don't need the rap verse really but aside from that it's so good.

Posted by: mr_pmt 27th October 2016, 06:33 PM

It reminds me a bit of 'We Can't Stop'.

Posted by: gothic_lotita 27th October 2016, 06:43 PM

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

I f***ing LOVE

Posted by: Cremey 27th October 2016, 10:24 PM

Completely ADORE everything about this. Definitely one of the songs of the year for me. Along with the Vroom Vroom EP, she's really delivered the goods this year!

+ the RiRi shoutout 🙌🏼

EXACTLY what i thought

too close for comfort

Posted by: Joe. 28th October 2016, 08:09 AM

Erm, this sounds very basic to me. Like a nursery rhyme.

Posted by: Cremey 28th October 2016, 08:17 AM

I think that's part of its appeal for me! I can imagine it being in an Annie film or something, haha.
It definitely gives me 'We Can't Stop' vibes. I'm never really sure what sort of audience she's aiming for with her music, especially as she seems to like changing up her sound every few songs. I'm loving this though.

Posted by: gothic_lotita 28th October 2016, 06:55 PM

I randomly got sent two free party bags in promo for this which had like 3 sweets, neon face paint and a balloon

Posted by: Count Snakula💀 31st October 2016, 02:50 PM

This song isn't great imo...just sounds dull and generic...I much preferred her Eurodance influenced Break The Rules.

Posted by: Umi 31st October 2016, 04:03 PM

I agree, 'Break The Rules' was a much more unique and exciting song than this.

Posted by: spun. 3rd November 2016, 03:32 PM

omg the video is so cringy and ugh but the song does sound quite nice in most parts, but others I'm not as sure... thinking.gif

Posted by: RobBob 3rd November 2016, 04:04 PM

Loving this a lot right now, maybe Joe has summed up why as I often seem to quite like songs that sound like nursery rhymes laugh.gif Can't get it out of my head, I know that much.

Posted by: Ryan. 3rd November 2016, 04:46 PM

I love this too, already probably my second favourite Charli single behind Boom Clap! It does sound like a big hit as well, I wasn't sure Charli would manage to crossover well into the OA/OS world we are in now, but she's given herself the best chance possible with this.

Posted by: Mountain Emperor 17th November 2016, 12:26 AM

Listened to it a few more times. Not a fan of this, immature pop that belongs back in the early 2010s that I hoped we had left behind.

It is just really disappointing from Charli, I.loved Superlove and Break The Rules.

The video doesn't really go with the song, it would go better if it was a dance song.

How can that happen did they post it to you when you pre ordered it or something

Posted by: Juliano 18th November 2016, 01:37 AM

My best friend is obsessed with this... I like the song, but I don't get obsession for it.

Posted by: jase. 18th November 2016, 08:51 PM

it's so fun and happy wub.gif

Posted by: Dobbo 18th November 2016, 11:54 PM

One of her very best tracks for me, extremely catchy.

Posted by: Mountain Emperor 19th November 2016, 12:01 AM

Well its not as bad as Broccoli for Lil Yachty...at least I can say one positive thing about the track.

Posted by: Davidson 23rd November 2016, 06:35 PM

Suddenly decided that I love this.

Not a Charli fan at all, but this is too much fun.

Found out the explanation for the weird line 'Got glitter in my underwear like it was Studio 54'

From Wikipedia Studio 54

The scene (1977–1979) Edit
Event planner Robert Isabell had four tons of glitter dumped in a four-inch layer on the floor of Studio 54 for a New Year's Eve party, which owner Ian Schrager described as like "standing on stardust" and left glitter that could be found months later in their clothing and homes.

The official remixes are out, and this one is brilliant from the legendary funky house producers

Very much keeping the lively I Wanna Be U type sound. They should have also done a remix under their trance alias Riva too.

The Danny L Harle remix is awful imo...what has he done to her vocal....don't know what he was thinking....oops

Posted by: Count Olaf 3rd February 2017, 12:15 PM

Rita Ora is a singer?? ohmy.gif

Posted by: Cremey 3rd February 2017, 12:29 PM

Love this. Still love the original too.
I've missed Rita's voice! So good to hear her on this 😍

Posted by: Jonjo 3rd February 2017, 01:59 PM

This remix is everythinggggggg! OMG. It really suits the song and sounds like they all had a legit blast recording it together! (Which is ironic as I assume they recorded their parts individually? laugh.gif)

Also, Ms Ora... please hurry with new stuff! Thanks xoxox

Posted by: Cameron 3rd February 2017, 02:02 PM

YASSSSSSSSSS

Posted by: Jonjo 13th February 2017, 05:46 PM

The remix is literally hitting me so hard right now!

Posted by: pippa 18th June 2019, 04:07 PM

This remains her best release.

Posted by: lotita 24th June 2019, 10:32 AM

Stan!!!!

This is so underrated

Posted by: dobbo 24th June 2019, 11:01 AM

Completely agreed, one of her best songs.

Posted by: HausofTove 24th June 2019, 08:45 PM

This is decent but really pales in comparison to most of her singles for me.

Posted by: Cremey 25th June 2019, 08:44 AM

Agree it’s one of her best, adore it 😭
