You can say the same about anyone who had one or two massive eras, it definitely doesn't make them a legend. Otherwise James Blunt, Duffy, David Gray etc. would all be legends!

Dido had 2 albums in a row both selling 3 million copies in the UK
who has done that? sure not Mariah  I see Mariah is more of a Diva, and sure Dido is not a Diva, but sure Dido is a legend imho but I always see this anti-Dido thing in all forums, like no one wants to acknowledge her achievements or even her music, you mention you like Dido and everybody is really? are you sure? I personally think Dido should get more recognition than she gets |

I like Dido and agree she gets a lot more ridicule than she deserves, but she's in no way a legend.

Dido was only big for about 3-4 years. Mariah and Bryan Adams had decades of big success. They're not really comparable.
