Are there any console or computer games that you still play and they still work which you have played for a long time or not or consider your old favourite that you have to play again.
Mine would be: Grand Prix 3- The original 1998 F1 season by Geoff Crammond. Football Manager 2005 FIFA 2001 |

My PS2 doesn’t want to read discs any more () so have had to resort to playing them via emulator

Burnout 3: Takedown. Omg my brother was obsessed with this game so I have played it a few times due to that! Some childhood games that have stuck with me over the years are Sims 2 (and accompanying expansion packs + stuff packs) and Tomb Raider games on PC, then also Hamtaro: Ham Ham Heartbreak on Gameboy! Any kind of Mario, Pokémon or Sonic games are always fun too. |

Coincidentally we went over to a family friends' this weekend and their kids were all playing Mario Kart on the Wii - made me feel so nostalgic
I also used to play the 2010 World Cup game on the Wii as well, the best FIFA game ever for the Wii because there were loads of extra features - there was a 'Build Your Team' kind of feature where you started off with players from countries that didn't qualify and then you had to play every team that qualified and if you completed certain challenges you got to steal a player for your team. The commentary was so good as well, it knew all he player's names, even like the Bolivian reserves |

Any Tomb Raider, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. Simpson Road Rage and sometimes the Sims Bustin Out.
I like my Sega Classics game for PS3 particularly Streets of Rage and Golden Axe. Wish I had all my Nintendo games from 1993 tho. Old games>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>whatever kids play these days. |

Not all strictly console games (I've always primarily been a PC gamer although I've got a few console games now- didn't have a console until well into my teens though) but I played A Bugs Life: Action Game to death when I was little. LEGO island was amazing too. Lots of educational games as well (that were more fun than educational at times oops) but I don't remember all their names. Star Wars: Jedi Knight Outcast was/ is so so good as well as Star Wars: Battlefront II (the original Lucas Arts game, not the extortionate remake that doesn't tell anyone it's a remake. )
Total Annihilation Kingdoms and Star Trek: Armada II were my introduction to RTS games (they're AMAZING) and later the fantastic Lord Of The Rings Battle For Middle Earth and the even better sequel/ expansion (BFME II + BFME II: The Rise Of The Witchking). I've played a lot of older games more recently such as Half Life and the like. Old games>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>whatever kids play these days. Tbh yes, and that's not just seeing things through rose tinted glasses. Older games didn't have to always be online and 4 player split screen on consoles was common. Amongst that and the ridiculous hiking of prices for new releases and more focus on pretty shiny graphics and rehashing the same game to death (*cough* COD *cough* FIFA) rather than story and competent game-play with a decent amount of content. Hell, these days lots of games aren't really finished when they're released and instead of patches being released to fix issues you have to BUY DLCs to fix the issues. #notall |

What I don't like about most current games is there's just SO MUCH involvement and dedication required particularly online games, you can't "pause" or whatever and the health implications can be undesired :/ also there's so much information about the games you need to know to be any good at them. +1 to the classic PS1/2 games >>>>>
