Olly Alexander, lead singer of Years & Years has made a raw, honest and insightful documentary about mental health issues within the LGBT community.

Having watched this, it's struck a chord with me and I feel like I've been though a lot of the stuff he talks about. I highly recommend giving this a watch!

I really liked this when I watched it the other day I also recommend the Queer Britain documentaries if you liked this.

Agree, this is an excellent documentary! Olly's experience of school was the same as mine, sadly (and of course for so many others as well). The emotional scars I developed during that time have never fully healed tbh, so that really struck a chord with me. As well as the feeling of being too fearful to speak to friends/family in fear of rejection. A lot of other important issues raised and discussed too! Essential viewing.

Like Harry, I would also recommend Queer Britain on iPlayer!

There's quite a few interesting LGBTQ+ programmes on at the moment actually, on BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p057crfd/members/all) & Channel 4 (http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2017/07/18/gay-britannia-and-beyond-the-best-tv-programmes-marking-the-50th-anniversary-of-the-sexual-offences-act/), to mark the 50th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Britain.

I cried four times during this, like actual tears rolling down my cheeks, and I never really get that emotional watching anything. It's the bit near the beginning where he's having a heart to heart with his mum about things that were left unsaid when he was first going through these issues that really struck a chord with me.

Everyone is saying this is brilliant but I find Olly Alexander incredibly annoying so might need to perserve as it is such an important topic. Will comment when I've watched this though!

Just finished watching it. It was every bit as good as everybody has been saying. Olly presented it very well. The fact that he got quite emotional at times really helped to make a big impact and to get the message across.
