great to see Chicane is back again, the first one he put out is really lovely and this new one is standard for him but more of what I like.

thankfully it is not a Beatles cover version. I wonder if we're getting an album from him soon? |

With him releasing new music this Friday and Sash! releasing new music two weeks ago is like Kevin & Perry. Sash! or Chicane?

Chicane has been consistently releasing new music all throughout the 2010s (he put out 4 albums in the decade, which is actually twice more than he did in the 00s), you can't really compare him to Sash! who'd been MIA for most of the last decade.

I’m not comparing them. I was just quoting Kevin & Perry when Eyeball Paul asked them that question and for the record, I like both Sash! and Chicane. Both have been around since the 90s but Chicane has been releasing a lot more material than Sash!

Same with ATB too! Oh yeah. 9pm was actually released in 1998 but it became a hit over here in 1999. All these artists releasing new material is like the 90s and 00s all over again. The last hit Sash! had was in 2008 with Raindrops and Chicane released Come Back in 2010 but shame that never became a hit. Poppiholla in 2009 was his last hit |

It's a shame Chicane had lost all his chart relevance long before 2018 because that last album had a few songs I consider to be amongst his best work - check out "Gorecki" in particular if you aren't familiar with it Hadji. It's actually a cover of a 90s song you may already know of, but in my opinion Chicane improves upon it.
This album isn't looking quite as good so far but I'll be looking forward to hearing the half of it he hasn't put out already come April. |

The original of "Gorecki" is by Lamb but is remixed by Chicane. Heard both versions and both are good |

I think Freemasons did better job with Gorecki. Although absolutely NOTHING can top Lamb's original version which is my top 5 song of alltime
