Remember the lead singer, Terry... he was in the early Bananarama videos if you look close (Shy Boy I think)...as the geek.... he was seeing Nana Sarah Dallin for years.

This song is currently at #62 in the UK iTunes Rock chart. Has it been used in an advert or TV show recently? I can't imagine it being one of those perenial sellers.

Claim to fame - my father was offered the chance to be their lead singer before they were signed. He turned them down. Doesn't regret it though.

I actually LOVE "Broken Land" not sure why it's back in the charts though. It's a creature of it's time I don't deny but it has a charm nevertheless.

Both the lead singer (Terry Sharpe) and guitarist (Paul Bowen) of The Adventures started out in a band called The Starjets. They had one UK Top 75 hit, 'War Stories' which made number 51 in September 1979
