Nice additions for Shura and The Weeknd. Foxes' new one is alright as well.
Disclosure A-List *.*
Body Talk easily the highlight of the new additions, though the Weeknd/Misty Miller tracks are very good too!
The GALL of r1 to remove two of my current faves tho
Shame 'Baby Love' hasn't moved up to the A List I guess they really are looking at the pre orders etc.
Good to see Foxes on there though. Her song is a big grower.
Wow, that must be my most accurate predicition ever, with every new C-listed song being in my predictions list
Glad they've added The Weeknd song anyway, hope it can eventually manage Top 10. Still no Elliphant though...
YES for Foxes, not that I had any doubt they'd playlist it.
I really need that to be a big hit, easily in my top 5 of the year so far.
Shocked to still see Zedd hanging on in there
Glad to see continued support for Sigma and Vaccines.
sigma is the only addition of note this week
fantastic to see disclosure, kygo and sam feldt move on up to the a-list
avicii and the chemical brothers move up a tier as well~
Nice update of the A List and good to see Sigma on there!
The Foxes track is sublime. Be big please.
Body talk, glitterball and can't feel my face Can all of them smash now please, all amazing
Was hoping Petite would move up to A-list though
All New entries there of course I am loving, The Vaccienes, Foxes, The Weeknd, Misty Miller, Shura and Sigma ft Ella Henderson. All Time Low are good too even though havent heard in full tbh but them none the less wub:
Excited to hear the BBC Introducing track as I have heard of the band name but havent heard their stuff yet,
Weird how they havent added Kodaline, The Maccabees and Andy Grammar (the song is getting airplay from Scott)
I'm pretty sure they will add The Maccabees second single next week, the albums out in 4 weeks ain't it?
Sykes <3 One of my favourite BJSC entries of recent times!
Good to see new additions from Foxes, Shura, The Vaccines and The Weeknd.
Sykes *-* what a song though so yay at support for that, reminds me a bit of Chvrches but less synthy/fab.
Kinda angry they've snubbed Conor but THE WEEKND GETTING ADDED
Nothing that interesting again for me, I was really hoping Baby Love and House Every Weekend would have been A listed today......
Loving the new Sigma track so I'm glad they're backing it and that Weeknd track is growing on me
I know his single's not out for another three weeks yet - and that I'm the only one on here who seems to genuinely love it but Aston Merrygold being snubbed saddens me. He's been on Scott Mills twice in the last month and this is the vote of thanks he gets?
If you end up on Scott Mills' show then you probably won't be playlisted. That's no shade to Scott Mills as he's by far my favourite but that's how it seems to work.
It seems if you premiere with Capital, Radio 1 you end up being snubbed by the other one.
Aston has been quite active, play listed by Capital - snubbed by Radio 1.
Ella Henderson a lot closer to Radio 1 now and snubbed by Capital...
I'd personally go with Capital for bangs for my buck.
Aston's not on the Capital playlist. Nathan Sykes however, on virtue of his label owning both Capital and Heart, is, despite his single being a load of 'gravelly voiced' twaddle. And considering, as someone else has pointed out on the main thread for Aston's single, that one of his former bandmates is a DJ on Capital I am shocked at the lack of even Marvin's support.
Then again, his whole career since their split and with LuvBug seems to have revolved around pretending the serious DJ shiz was his goal in life the whole ride along. All very 'Melanie C goes punk' c. 1999/2000.
Sykes 'Best Thing' is absolutely adorable so good to see it getting some exposure <3
