If tonight's victory parade in Manchester to celebrate Man City's domestic treble is supposed to be for the Manchester public then it doesn't add up because...
*What if you're a Manchester United fan? *Would an ordinary Mancunian who doesn't necessarily support one of the teams celebrate Man City winning the Premier League one year and Man United winning it another? *If Man United and Man City met in a cup final would that aforementioned ordinary Mancunian celebrate regardless of the result? Please explain. |

Presumably it’s because nobody actually gives a f*** and they’re trying to get people to come so it’s not embarrassingly empty. I work at the edge of the parade route and didn’t bother going into the office today, not because the parade route would be busy (it won’t be) but because to road closures mean I can’t get from the office to any of the city centre tram stops so would have to walk home and I cba with that.

The parade is only for Manchester City "fans". No one apart from them and Sky Sports News even cares about this parade to be honest.

It's actually hard to imagine anyone supporting Manchester City for their whole life/footballing life unless they are under 10 years old or if they are born and bred in Manchester. They must have the most plastic fan base right now.
