The "horror punk" band Creeper released a Christmas EP last week, featuring two popular covers from The Pogues and Elvis Presley as well as an original song called "Same Time Next Year?". "Fairytale Of New York" is rarely covered too well, but Creeper has actually pulled it off with a cover that is quite nice - obviously it's not as good as the original but it's worth checking out. I quite like "Same Time Next Year?" too, it's a cute song (maybe cute is a stretch )

Didn't realise there was another Creeper fan on here. Nobody cared when EIYA came out
Personally not fussed on the covers but Same Time Next Year is suitably miserable Did you catch them on the recent tour? |
