Hey dude, hope things are good
1. Adele When We Were Young [30-14-1] Ooh that's an unexpected climb to the top! It's obviously not as good as Hello but it's still a lovely song 2. Jason Derulo Get Ugly [3-2] 4. Justin Bieber Sorry [2-2-1-4] 5. The Chainsmokers feat. Rozes Roses [17-13-4-5] 6. G-Eazy feat. Bebe Rexha Me, Myself & I The chorus to this is pretty catchy and Bebe Rexha sounds as great as ever on it! Will she ever get that breakthrough hit though? 8. Snakehips feat. Tinashe & Chance The Rapper All My Friends [15-8] 12. DNCE Cake By The Ocean [26-21-12] This has been growing on me since I heard it a few days ago. Definitely has the potential to be huge! This year's Shut Up And Dance? 13. Rihanna feat. Drake Work Hated this at first but that chorus refuses to leave your head! I still don't like her diction in it though. 14. Coldplay Adventure Of A Lifetime [27-5-18-14] 15. Twenty One Pilots Stressed Out [9-9-9-15] 16. Ariana Grande Focus [8-1-5-16] 17. Zayn Pillowtalk Brilliant debut single from him, exactly the kind of thing he should have released! That chorus I'm looking forward to the album, especially considering that 'It's You' is quite good too 18. James Bay Let It Go [10-17-18] 19. Adele Hello [1-3-12-19] 20. Shawn Mendes feat. Camila Cabello I Know What You Did Last Summer [38-20] 22. Ellie Goulding On My Mind [11-3-6-11-22] 23. Troye Sivan Youth Great follow-up to Wild, even though it's not quite as good. Love the production on all his stuff though. I wish he would just become a big star already! 28. Mike Posner I Took A Pill In Ibiza I can't decide whether I like this or not lol... either way I'm gonna have to get used to it cos it's going to be everywhere for the next few months! 31. Ellie Goulding Something In The Way You Move Hoping this is actually the next single! Is it in the US? 34. Nathan Sykes feat. Ariana Grande Over And Over Again 37. Rudimental feat. Anne-Marie & Will Heard Rumour Mill 40. One Direction Perfect [11-7-13-40] Great chart as always |

Nice debut for Pillowtalk, hopefully a top 10 or top 5 place next month. Really good chart! I discovered Get Ugly at the end of the year and loved it right away which is why it debuted so high. I also hope for Work to climb next month, I'm liking it more than Pillowtalk so not so sure about that one going top 5, MAYBE top 10 though! Walk The Moon Work This Body Great Chart Walking On A Dream never clicked with me way back then, I always preferred We Are The People but now WOAD is a surprise hit in America and growing on me a lot Glad to see you love Jeremih and A Great Big World Hey dude, hope things are good Hi Mango, yeah things are good 1. Adele When We Were Young [30-14-1] Ooh that's an unexpected climb to the top! It's obviously not as good as Hello but it's still a lovely song 2. Jason Derulo Get Ugly [3-2] 4. I completely agree, love the verses too, will be quite shocked if Bebe ever gets a solo hit Her voice is interesting but idk if she's good enough to break through properly. 12. That would be huge Personally I'd like to see it do as well as "Shake It" by Metro Station, with the connection of both groups being led by siblings of a more popular Disney-originated artist 13. Same pretty much! Love the production the most I think. Her diction doesn't bother me but she definitely could have tried harder with it 17. I'm not completely sold yet, to me he's trying a Troye Sivan-esque direction that Troye does a lot better, but this is definitely a good song and obviously he's off to a great start anyway! 23. Yeah I fully agree, like I said above I'd love Troye to have some of the success that Zayn's having 28. I'm kinda bored of it already. Loved the singles from his first album a lot better, this is a bit too heard-it-all-before... 31. Yeah we skipped Army and went straight to this I think it's a good move, by the time it gets pushed in the UK it will have good momentum from being a US hit (fingers crossed!) Thank you thank you thank you for commenting |

Also quite surprised at that chart-topper but what an absolute beaut . Just did a quick check and it seems this is the first time we've shared a #1 (with three months in the difference for this one of course as I'm such a damn hipster ), though 'Hello' and 'One Last Time' among others came close, and 'Lean On' should by rights have got a month in on mine as it was a big fave for half a year, despite peaking at #5. Excited for 'Hands To Myself' to follow Adele's example and make its triumphant ascent to the top spot here by the end of April. I want to like 'Me, Myself & I' but I find Bebe's vocals in it really off-putting :/. Perhaps they're an acquired taste~ The verses and lyrics are pretty good though. I'm wondering how high 'Work' would be without Drake's 'twin' line lol . I'm kind of surprised how much I enjoy the song as objectively its vocal delivery is so lazy and just downright bad. Have you heard anything else from 'Anti' yet? It's quite surreal to see Mike Posner smashing charts internationally (again), and I never thought I'd be in any way ~moved~ by a song of his. Some of the most insightful/interesting lyrics I've heard in ages, and it's good to see the track clearly succeeding in endearing him to the public again. Quite a bit here I'm not familiar with. I've been in need of new music for a while now, so would be more than open to any recommendations~ Nice chart! This post has been edited by noahspike: Mar 12 2016, 07:17 PM |

haiii Hi! YES at finally sharing a #1 I'm still surprised WWWY clicked with me as much as it has but such is the power of Adele. 'Hands To Myself' may make a triumphant ascent to #36 or so The other day I made it all the way to the start of the last chorus before switching the station! I've been in need of new music for a while now, so would be more than open to any recommendations~ Nice chart! I found Bebe off-putting too at first but her chorus grew on me along with the rest of the song. I prefer the verses and lyrics as well, and the production! 'Work' would be just as high without the "twin" line I've heard nothing else from Anti other than a clip of 'Needed Me'. Gah, I'm really of two minds about Mike Posner's song. So glad to see him charting again but I don't think his voice suits this song at all. As for recommendations, you must hear 'Something About You' if you haven't already and 'Oui' is pretty interesting too!!! Thank you! |

'Hands To Myself' may make a triumphant ascent to #36 or so The other day I made it all the way to the start of the last chorus before switching the station! I've learnt the hard way with these things so l'll only believe it when I see it. (wait) (jk yay ) And thanks for the sangs. Didn't think much of 'Something About You' but 'Oui' is a bit of a jam. On my second listen now~ |
