Man City favourites again? beginning to feel like the boy who cried wolf here. I think the bookmakers and the media need to let go of the idea of them winning the Champions League now.

Poor Gladbach at 150/1 😭😭🤣🤣

Think Gladbach are in for a Europa exit. Thrilled (not) to be stuck with PSG again. It’s a tough bar but think they might be the biggest cheating diving cry babies in European football

Yeah agreed, their time was the 17/18 season imo when they had the league sewn up by Christmas.

Then again, Chelsea didn't win it at their absolute peak but lucked into it when they had a much weaker team so can't write them off. Joint favourites with Bayern is absolutely laughable though.

Bayern Munich either should have been favourites on their own or joint with Liverpool. Whoever is favourites doesn't really matter though as it doesn't determine who will win the competition and that goes for every competition in general. It's just that Manchester City have been favourites for the Champions League every year for goodness knows how many consecutive years and they have always failed to deliver.

I know the favs don’t matter much especially as it’s a cup competition but as you say they have failed to deliver but still have one of the best teams and managers

Maybe having PSG in our group wasn't such a bad thing after all! Getting a win away at PSG will give us a very good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.

It's nice to see Prime Minister Rashford getting a hat trick after coming off the bench, 6 points now for us and we've beaten our two toughest opponents in the group. We should be able to beat Istanbul Basaksehir home and away also.

Poor Alvaro Morata scored a hat trick for Juventus in their match against Barcelona only for all 3 goals to be disallowed laugh.gif

It was a great result. No surprise to see a penalty and a questionable offside goal though (1st one) biggrin.gif PSG and Leipzig must be kicking themselves at being tactically outclassed by Ole and one of them probably won't qualify! The problem with Istanbul will be the travelling.
