Whether it's your favourite or not, 'Teenage Dream' is Katy most iconic album with the public and cemented her as a huge pop girl on the levels of the biggest at the time. The album (including the re-release) spawned a massive NINE singles, but how would you rank them? Discuss |

1. Firework
2. E.T. 3. Part Of Me 4. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) 5. California Gurls 6. Wide Awake 7. The One That Got Away 8. Hummingbird Heartbeat 9. Teenage Dream The first two are pop classics and in her top 5 for sure, incredible 'Part Of Me' is absolutely fab with a strong message which at some points I've really needed, similar to Firework. It's a great pop song and I'm not sure why it generally gets a mixed reaction tbh. 4-5 are equal I'd say, another two great songs but from there there's nothing I go back to at all, like 'Wide Awake' and 'The One That Got Away' are okay I guess but have never been anything special, similar to 'Hummingbird Heartbeat'. I know I'm one of a few haters of Teenage Dream (we're growing xx) so I'm hesitant to call it that overrated but I just don't see what's so special about it It feels like a Jess Glynne song, not in sound but in that it's totally average. |

01 Firework
An absolute BANGER and such a huge uplifting song, no wonder it's gone down as one of her classics It doesn't try to be anything more than a pop anthem and it achieves that in spades. 02 E.T. Something so different for her but it worked so well, it's so slick and polished and set her apart as not just another pop girl making cute bops, I remember first hearing it and being like wooahhh. 03 Wide Awake Stunning song, quite underrated I feel on here and in general <3 04 Teenage Dream Such a BOP, nothing revolutionary but it doesn't have to be. It's so much and a perfect song to blast out in summer. 05 California Gurls It hasn't aged all that way but I f***ing ADORED it at the time and it's still a fun bop when you hear it now, it goes off in a clib *.* 06 The One That Got Away A tad overrated I feel but a lovely little song with real emotion imbued in it. 07 Last Friday Night I hardly ever go back to this, in terms of pop-rock bops this era TD gave me what I needed, but really good when I do go back to it. 08 Hummingbird Heartbeat As above really. 09 Part Of Me Nice enough but the re-package lead really?? I love the whole top 5 to some extent, really like them all though (Part Of Me is still like a 7.5/10, certainly not her best and it shouldn't have been a single but it's not as bad as people make out. |

1. "The One That Got Away"
2. "Teenage Dream" 3. "E.T." 4. "California Gurls" 5. "Firework" 6. "Wide Awake" 7. "Part Of Me" 8. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" All of them are bops. "The One That Got Away" really is the one that got away I don't really listen to the last three that much any more but this album played a huge part in my growing up. |

The two UK number ones were the weakest singles.
ET by far my fave and the rest somewhere in the middle. |
