Gaga has (rightfully) had huge success in her career. But with this success comes calls from naysayers of "overrated" or some of her songs are overplayed etc. But on the flip side, let's focus on her songs that are criminally underrated. Which singles haven't received the attention they deserve, the airplay or the commercial success? Which album tracks have been overlooked by the bigger moments on the albums? What is Gaga's most underrated song? |

For me her most underrated single is Marry The Night. It's ethereal, other worldly, empowering, catchy, punchy, has an incredible video and had amazing live performances.
In terms of album tracks, The Queen, I Like it Rough and Grigio Girls need more love. The first is a Whitney level moment of euphoria, the second is a fun, cheeky, banger and the latter is a stunning tribute to friendship. Wake up y'all! |

'Electric Chapel' is legitimately in my top 5 favourite Gaga songs EVER. Truly epic. I wish it was known as one of her classic album tracks.

Grigio Girls! It's the cutest song she has ever released!
I love Perfect Illusion too, I think it's genius and so left field. Venus, G.U.Y. and Sexxx Dreams from ARTPOP deserve all the love as well. Magnificent bops. |

Haven't taken a look at the other responses here to get an unaltered opinion.
With the GP I think Judas and Million Reasons are underrated, the latter certainly with it's chart peak. Dare I say it even Applause deserves better - the fans really pan it now for something that still is a really strong single, just not a 10/10 moment which most popstars could not get close to. Also I think Teeth and Summerboy are particularly underrated out of the album tracks. Definitely not singles but I have a soft spot for both! |

You and I is clearly one of her own faves (she always includes it in her live set) but wish there was SPEECHLESS instead.

Agree with Venus, Summerboy and Eh Eh. Not Teeth though, that is totally the worst thing she’s ever recorded.
I’d say Bad Kids, it’s one of my faves from the Born This Way album but I don’t think it tends to go down particularly well in elimination games or rates for the album? |

Marry the Night could have been much bigger if handled differently.
Scheiße usually gets all the attention from Born This Way, but Bloody Mary and Heavy Metal Lover (especially) are just as good. ARTPOP (the song) is often overlooked as well. This post has been edited by blacksquare: 26th June 2019, 09:53 AM |

I may have a warped way of seeing things and I do use the terms occasionally but I have a slight aversion to 'underrated' and 'overrated' just cos to me they mean something like 'a large amount of people like this song but I don't so I'm in the minority and that sucks' or vice versa. I guess it's just personal opinion tho, I won't look too much into it
The first song I can think of that I proper like and that doesn't seem to get much attention / love is 'Fashion!'. From the piano intro to the bassline, to the 'cos your new look's ethereaaaaaal', I really like it. I feel like something quite special was captured in that song. |
