It has been announced that Sia, Labrinth and Diplo have formed a supergroup named LSD and will release an album 
Mixed feelings on all three of thse but could be good, Diplo is a fab producer!

Labrinth literally just included so the band name as a fun name (SD doesn't have the same ring to it). He makes me cringe oops, but I'll still give this a chance cus Sia.

This is great news! Labrinth is an extremely talented and critically acclaimed musician so his inclusion makes sense. I look forward to this as I like all three artists!

Tbf Labrinth has worked with Sia before. Pretty sure this will mean Diplo is a part of 4 different groups now too (Jack U, Major Lazer, Mark Ronson’s, LSD)
First single is out next Friday too

I love the aesthetic so far, it’s creepy but I’m loving it (and not as creepy as Troye Sivans latest artwork anyway)

It sounds like something that should be in some sort of film/soundtrack on first listen . It’s very different I’m not sure how it will fair on the charts though. I feel like it would either do really well or flop completely.

I quite like everything released so far - especially Genius which reminds me of the sort of slightly bonkers pop track that you used to occasionally get from odd genre blending bands in the late 90s. I like the fact that everything is slightly weird and slightly fun, I don't think we get enough of that in the charts these days. And we still don't actually I guess as this project hasn't managed to really change that so far.

I heard 'Thunderclouds' on Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show this morning. Brilliant record. And coming from someone who subscribes to the school of thought that Sia was better before she appeared on every David Guetta song ever (i.e. when she worked with Zero 7) that's high praise indeed.

It's the repeated listens thanks to it's exposure that's helped - the other LSD songs haven't stuck with me and this probably wouldn't have either if it wasn't making gains.

Audio I’ve heard like two times, it’s weak for me.
Thunderclouds lies somewhere in between, I don’t think it’s AMAZING but it’s nice enough. Although I do love Sia’s wails in the chorus

And it's very common for people to do a U-turn on songs once it's had exposure and airplay. Initial impressions of a song not being great can change and this is one of those situations. I for one still don't like it, Genius is my fave.

I'd rank them like that so far, Thunderclouds has really grown on me a lot despite not thinking too much of it initially. Audio took a while to grow on me too, I think the hype of the collab helped me get into Genius straight away tbh
