I nearly fell to sleep during the extra time period, the second half in normal time was far more entertaining.

GET IN Switzerland! We always love a good underdog victory, particularly when it knocks out one of the really big hitters. Have to feel for Mbappe now though, he must be feeling terrible and I hope the press don't treat him too harshly.

I knew Mbappe was gonna miss that I could just tell, so much pressure on him and he’s so young. Feel a bit for him thought, he’ll be beyond gutted.

Certainly the underdogs are performing, I didn't think Spain were that great when they were dominant 10 years ago, This is wide open, I think Italy are on their way to a final, as for England, I wait until tomorrow biggrin.gif

THIS really is the match of the tournament. This match had everything, five star entertainment and the world champions who almost everyone said would win the tournament knocked out by an underdog. This has really blown the whole tournament wide open as well. It's a fantastic opportunity for the remaining teams to try and win it

What an incredible day of football that was! Croatia v Spain already looked like game of the tournament earlier only for the same thing to happen again with the underdogs coming from 3-1 down to take it to extra time, except this time the underdogs only went and did it against arguably the favourites to win the tournament! Glad that great performance from the Swiss tonight has been rewarded.
