Kinda disappointed it's not getting a theatrical release, but not surprised as Aardman have a deal with Netflix currently.

Is Michelle Fowler 2.0 starring?

I don’t think I’ve watched Chickenrun since I saw it in the cinema almost 20 years ago.

Julia Sawalha and Mel Gibson not returning because allegedly their voices are ‘too old’ now.

What is this ageism?

I suspect it'll be executive meddling from Netflix wanting a "big name" as the voice.

(Honestly including Mel Gibson would probably cause more uproar given his recent controversies)
