Not long to go now until the long awaited The Super Mario Bros Movie hits cinemas.

I've been looking forward to this since it was announced as well as spending my whole childhood wanting one to be made.

Anyone else planning on seeing it?

Seeing this on Saturday, fairly excited for it.

Not expecting anything ground breaking story wise. Just a good old fashioned nostalgia hit with a laugh or two thrown in.

Just got back from seeing this and whilst the story itself isn’t that strong it’s everything I’ve wanted from a Mario movie for 30 years.

So much nostalgia and even a laugh or two in a nice 90min package.

This was a lot of fun tbh! I had a blast in it. It's extremely thin on the screenplay side of things and the story structure is quite a mess, but it's mindless fun and I enjoyed a lot of the references. I particularly loved the shots where it looked you were playing the games! Little touches like that were fun!

Agree, one of the small nitpicks was that it jumped around a bit. Also wasn’t that keen on the voice of Cranky Kong.

I watched it and was very dissatisfied.
